That is a very useful script, thanks. Will not be useful for me most of the time as I am glued to my Android tablet and scripts don't work on that as far as I know but it means that if I really want it for something I can use it on my pc.

The simplest way to do this is probably to allow switching between Threaded and Flat views, and keep track of the last post you viewed in Flat view.

It's something I'd want, and not only for my threads. I too find the current notification very limited and am frequently interested to read all comments, including new ones in pages that rare not the last.

I would like to see all replies to a topic I've created and not just the new ones. By that I mean I would like to see replies at replies too. The way it is now you are missing a lot on a topic that obviously interest you as you where the one to start it. That's a shame. I hope they will change that some day.
