Open up Uplay and look in your library under Free Games, maybe it's there.

i wonder if the pyramids burst into flames too, would ubi give away AC origins too?

Maybe.. but would your first thought after hearing a pyramid had managed to get engulfed in flames to the point of the roof being destroyed really be "Hey, I wonder if I can get a free game out of this?". I mean, regardless of the cause, something pretty extreme would have had to happen to lead to that kind of damage to a giant stone pyramid.

That said, Ubisoft is a French company and, further, I believe all of their primary branches are located in France and Canada.
Seeing as Canada doesn't have buildings of the same historic emphasis as France, and that Ubisoft isn't as likely to try and show solidarity with regions they're not as significantly assocaited with, the likliest source for further promotions under the same premise would be additional France-based historical building damage.

Though, and just hear me out on this, maybe we can not hope for additional damage being done to historical buildings? And, y'know, still consider that a win? I dunno, that just kinda seems like a better way of organizing our priorities. :P

Well, you can probably hold out hope for eventually getting Origins free even without ritually sacrificing any buildings in the process. Ubi has set a pretty strong habit of giving the AC games away for free, so it's not improbable that Ubi'll eventually make their way through the entire list. ..I mean, there'll fairly likely be another full dozen or more AC games released by the time Origins goes free, anyway. :P

Is this series supposed to have some sort of continuous story? I have AC1 and AC3 but am still missing AC2.

Up until (including) Syndicate yes. Then they abandon the original Desmond story AFAIK and use the Animus as a basis to explore various historical locations and times.

I feel thankful for all the people around the world who express sympathy for us french people, really thank you. Sad and worried about what they're gna do in terms of rebuilding... But whatever. Playing Unity was quite funny, and they did an awesome work on the Notre-Dame project!

I've never visited Notre Dame, this game gives me a chance to do so, in a way. Nice that the world can finally see how games can "help preserve our history". :)

Thank you!
