Most overrated game in 2012.

So there is topic about most underrated. Shoud be an opposite of that, shouldnt it?

I think Mark of the Ninja or Dishonored - overrated.

Also we can discuss most overrated game of all time. My thoughts: Half Life 2. Nothing special.(except for Gravity Gun, which is really awesome)

I enjoyed Bastion a lot...not sure how much hype was behind it...but I thought it was pretty fucking amazing.
I had lots of feels for the protag...even though he was mute and nameless.

It's too easy to say Call of Duty. That series has become practically the same thing as an EA Sports title.

I found that Dishonored received too much praise. In my opinion, a greatly flawed game in that it made me feel that I was playing it wrong if I just did whatever I wanted. For that reason I only ended up playing through it once without killing or being caught. I missed out on a lot of potential combat fun, and the game world wasn't as exciting or original enough to replay through a second time to experience the things I missed out on. Add the fact that not many people have time to play a single player campaign twice these days with the heaps of great titles popping up all over.

Mark of the Ninja was a very good game, not sure why you'd think it's overrated, easily the best stealth game I played. CoD is easily in my overrated list, along with WoW. I'd easily recommend MotN to anyone that likes stealth games.

Since you mentioned we can discuss games from all time, Battlefield 3 is overrated as fuck, it's just Bad Company 2 with annoying as hell visuals and bigger maps, that's about it, it feels more like Bad Company 3 rather than true Battlefield 2 sequel.

I have to agree. It's good but overrated. I still play BC2 and I think it's good. Although it doesn't have some stuff it' s still better than BF3 IMO.
