Why can't contributor enter into his/her own giveaway?

BTW, in my opinion this suggestion isn't bad in compare with new contributor system, when you can increase chances of winning (by cutting off leechers) to those, who don't need it as they proved that have some spare money they can throw away. And has led to abuse of it with cheaters, which made it even more pointles. Dahm, I can think of few ways how to make machination with it that couldn't be tracked with current steamgifts capabilities, and I'm sure some of it already in use by someone.

the thing is... if you want the game why are you not just keeping the copy and not putting it up in SG... makes sense that if you want it, you keep it and if you don't, you put it up for giveaway...
