Recommend Anime

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo!

The only anime I'd recommend would be Big O or seconding Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Big O is basically Batman with giant robots, Ghost in The Shell is some crazy cyberpunk business with killer animation and a really thought provoking story.

Fate/Stay Night, Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom, Claymore, Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin.

I recommend:

• Full Metal Alchemist (finished):
  was the first, but is not following the Manga after a few Episodes anymore.
  It is finished and a little bit like Bleach/Naruto but without too unrealistic fights but with a twisting story plot.

• Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (finished)
  remake, but following the Manga correctly.
  You can watch both Full Metal Alchemist Anime because the Stories developping completly differently.

• Code Geass / Code Geass R2 (finished)
  If you like Death Note and you are not hating a few Mech Fights than this is a good choice

• Great Teacher Onizuka (finished)
  Good comedy Anime

• Hikaru no Go (finished)
  Anime about the Japanese game "Go".
  Sounds boring, but it was an awesome Anime even if you have no idea what "Go" is.

• Gundam Seed / Gundam Seed Destiny (finished)
  A futuristic Mech-Anime.
  Even if you are not so interested in Mech-Fights the story plot and the characters are very good.

I haven't seen the anime for it, but based off your list I'll recommend History's strongest disciple Kenichi (I read as much of the series as is available atm.) Ofc this depends if you bother with ecchi.

I will say right now, I like most of the Anime I watch with rare exceptions of ones I cannot make it through. (I am looking at you "Serial Experiments Lain" and "Escaflowne".)

I will list a few that I think are a must watch that I have seen through to the end, and sometimes multiple times.
Elfen Lied - Good story, good action
Azumanga Daioh - Great light hearted comedy, and the only Anime I have liked more Dubbed than Subbed because of the voices.
FLCL - Because its FLCL
Cowboy Bebop - Great Story, good character development, good action
Outlaw Star - To me it felt somewhat like Cowboy Beebop with more feeling.
Trigun - Just all around a fun Anime to watch
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - A good drama anime
Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu / The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Another good light hearted anime.
Linebarrels of Iron - A good Mech / Gundam Anime with some nice story.
High School of the Dead - Funny action oriented Anime with some romance.
Movies:
Death Note Live Action Movies - I actually loved them
Anything Studio Ghibli
Grave of the Firelies - A must watch even for those that hate Anime, you WILL cry.
Volcano High - Not anime, but along the lines
