What is the best game you have ever bought?

Star Wars Empire at War / Kingdom hearts series.

Those are the games I liked and enjoyed most.

Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction, most time I spent on any game and the wealthiest I have been on any game. Still have perm imp shanks, wraith bands, ebug gear and invents of sc's and hr's.

It's not my most played, but the best and most fun I've ever had with a game was when I first got Ys Seven for the PSP. I am sincerely hoping it makes it to Steam one day.

And the good old Transport Tycoon Deluxe, ate more hours than I care to remember!

Super Metroid

Game with most hours spent /= best game. My most played game on Steam is BY FAR Borderlands 2. Does that mean it's the best game I've bought? HELL NO!!! The best game in my Steam library is Bioshock. It's not even a contest. But by the hours I played it, it's not even in the top 10. Does that make it any less of a masterpiece? I have games in my Origin an UPlay libraries which are also better than Borderlands 2. SOOOO...yeah, wrong definition, if you ask me.

System Shock 2. So nice I bought it twice. And plan to buy it a third time.

Probably Skyrim, Civ V or Legend of Grimrock 2 of modern games
Frontier:Elite 2, SimCity and Eye of the Beholder 2 for classic 90s games

Even though it's not complete yet, it has to be Life is Strange. After that, Bully: Scholarship Edition is pretty close.

Dude, if you asked this a year ago, i would say that Max Payne was my best pucharse. But Life Is Strange... Man, this game got me like, dunno what, like a full bottle of whiskey in the middle of the night alone. LIS4LIFE. =p

Hmmm, I have probably spent most hours on lol, i have paid for skins there, if it counts.
Then, Cod 4 (1000 hours +), cod mw2 (700+ hours). Followed closely by starcraft 2, starcraft 1 and civilization 3. Around 500 each
Then the last one i spent a lot of time was borderlands 1 with a lil over 70 hours.
