Thanks! Now, I wish I'd taken a picture of the cake I baked this weekend. It was a double layer apple cinnamon crumb cake.

Sure was! I have the recipe, if you'd like. You need at least 3 mixing bowls, but it isn't as complicated as it sounds.

1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter (I use margarine)
2/3 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 cups Flour
1 3/4 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Milk
2 Apples (I use Macintosh)
1/2 cup Confectioner's Sugar
1 tbsp Milk
Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Separately mix flour and baking powder. Separately mix sugar and butter; beat in eggs individually, and vanilla. Add flour mixture to creamed butter; mix in milk. Half at a time, pour butter, apples sprinkled with cinnamon-sugar*, and brown sugar mixture into a cake pan; repeat. Bake at 350F for 60 minutes. Mix confectioner's sugar with milk for glaze.
- I have a mixture from other recipes I've made, but the proportions aren't super important for this one.
