Question about contributor giveaways

Do they still require you to have contributed the required amount before the giveaway was created? I remember reading that in an announcement a while ago, but it wouldn't be the only change since then.

Nope. It's double your contributed amount, if I recall. $2000 is the limit though.

(I think you're answering a different question. The answer Vercinger wanted is "no they don't, you can try to 'catch up' while the giveaway is open".)
