You can select year 2022, too, so I guess it was new last year. I'm not much into profile design though, so not sure about it.

Here's my page. It's no surprise that I've played tons of games, and that my most played is Terraria. I'm kinda obsessed with it.

I am, however, somewhat taken aback by how many achievements I got. I didn't expect so many. I just assumed I was being lazy, so I'd probably end up with no more than forty.

I must say that while for other people these numbers might seem small for my usual numbers they're actually kinda impressive, I'm particularly shocked to learn that I somehow got over 600 achievements.
Also, the one graph showing genre percentages is wild to me considering that before this year I don't think I ever played any hidden object game, and suddenly it's the one thing dominating.

I should probably point out that there where a number of factors helping HOGs become my most played genre this year, it didn't come as out of the blue as it might seem if you go by what I originally wrote.
First, I was in an adventure game mood since last year and hidden object games are within that genre umbrella, it wasn't that much of a jump between point and clicks and HOGs, and I also played a few pure P&Cs this year that for some reason didn't end up showing in the spider graph.
Second, while I never bothered to play them by myself before, some years ago my mom was into HOGs and I'd often just sit by her side and help her when she couldn't find some of the items in a particularly hard scene.
Third, they're pretty short (they often last between 2 and 5 hours) and also fairly easy games, so it's easy to end up playing multiple of them in a row and after a couple of weeks having finished a dozen of them.
Fourth, I was mostly stuck using my laptop this year and while it struggles running anything 3D and demanding games are out of the question, HOGs can run on a potato. There's a reason why I also played many metroidvanias, they're 2D platformers that don't ask for much in terms of hardware... I also find them addicting but that's beside the point.

91% on Steamdeck. I have to say I am happy with the purchase. With how life has turned out this year, having actual gaming sessions are rare, but sitting at TV and having a quick 15-30 min with the deck is attainable.

I got mine at the end of november and I am really satisfied too. I work at my computer all the time and gaming on my pc feels like a chore tbh... but deck really makes me feel joy from playing games. Best purchase so far for me

That's basically an almost complete summary of the major games I played this year... This has to be my worst year yet. Had several months where I just... felt completely devoid of energy and couldn't do anything. It just keeps getting worse and worse... T.T

It's a bit bloated as I tended to leave FM in the background, but the ranking is probably right even if the time percentage isn't.

Pretty 'strong' year for me:
189 games played;
142 of those new;
Earned 1,145 achievements across 108 games. 88 of those rare.

And this is all with hardly having touched Steam in Aug and Sep due to Tears of the Kingdom. Thanks Steam Deck :)
Please note that the dark purple in the chart is Vampire Survivors, not Forager, which I played only in January.

Pretty Good, Can i play fallout shelter if i didn't really play any fallout before?

Certainly can. Dialogue/characters/items/critters would make more sense if you had played and some of the quests involve quizzes, but you can look them up in guides, as long as you don't mind minor spoilers. At it's heart though, it's just a base building people/resource manager

Alright then, here it is: https://s.team/y23/vfdkqfw?l=english

An RPG heavy year according to Steam. It also says that I only played one demo, but I'm pretty sure a good chunk of those new games were Next Fest demos.

BTW, I strongly feel Recettear was the one game responsible for having the Capitalism tag as one of the most prominent... XD

Mine is a bit embarrassing because all that Fallout 76 playtime is from a single week, and yet it made it to my top five of the entire year.
