Steam Prince Of Persia Sale Tips

Hey guys,

If you are planning to buy the Prince of Persia games that are currently on sale, make sure you read this.

First off, the complete pack is priced higher than the individual games, so you shouldn't purchase it, unless you like spending money.

Next, instead of getting The Forgotten Sands and The Sands of Time, why not pay a penny more and get Digital Deluxe Edition of The Forgotten Sands, which includes a free copy of The Sands of Time, plus all those extras.

What I bought:
Prince Of Persia
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
Prince of Persia: Warrior Within
Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Digital Deluxe Edition

It was $12.46 total for me. I got the deluxe extras and all five games.

The deals are quite good. Based on price histories of the steam redeemable versions, you will have trouble doing better. I'm not saying that Amazon won't suddenly run a complete pack, cheaper, but it probably won't be by much.

that's some good strategy right there.

i spent 8€ on them. bought it on christmas. didnt buy the 2008's PoP though. didn't like it and i think it doesn't relate much with the others games.

And didn't get Forgotten Sands Deluxe, just the normal version...

tempting... tell me, is it a good idea to start with the first game, or can I get The Forgotten Sands Digital Deluxe and be OK. I have a crazy backlog but I've always been somewhat interested in the PoP series.

It has been a while since I played many of them, but I think that Prince of Persia is the only one that isn't directly connected, story-wise. I could be wrong. I quick checked some wiki pages and it appears that is the case. The Forgotten Sands is a side story or something, but connects in, a bit.

If it was Amazon, you could pitch a minor-massive fit (customer preference) and they would probably refund it and give you a credit to make sure you come back. Then you could just keep the keys.

Steam will just laugh at you, if they even respond.

I was hoping everyone would see it in time, but it is hard to get anything to actually be seen, here.

I thought that Steam had the bundle price fixed already but it looks like it will stay that way 'till tomorrow.
Anyway I only recommend buying the trilogy. Forgotten Sands is meh-ish and Prince of Persia® is weird because you cannot die in that game.
