I'm just curious, was it a game you had wishlisted or something that just looked interesting and discovered through this site.
In my case it was The Binding of Isaac, I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself (or if I did it would rot in my library), I wanted to know what all the fuss was about that game. 400+ hours later I got all the achievements

Obligatory giveaway(s): Level 1, all wins activated
The Wolf Among Us
Trine 3: The Artifacts of Power
Victor Vran ARPG
Sakura Angels
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut
Outlast

  • For every 50 people who tell me what their most played steamgifts win is I will add another giveaway
  • If you are blacklisted and answer the question above I will remove you (I lost all my tags, so I don't know the reason)

Orcs Must Die, not sure if it was wishlisted or not, this was 3 years ago.

Which then led me to actually buy OMD2 and I have almost 300 hours played now.

Grand Theft Auto V - 169 hours (heh!). I got it in a giveaway with over 12.000 entries, so there went my whole luck for the past year. But, you know, I regret nothing!

I can't kill him, and decided to make a pause in the game..

Understood! The toughest battle in the game, IMO. I even went online for strats (there wasn't a lot there that I wasn't already trying to do) and still couldn't beat him. It was those damn laser turrets, mostly. Then, finally, one time I beat him while only losing one heart. No idea how that happened.
The only advice I can give you, if you want it: During the first phase prior to the laser turrets, don't get him below about 50% or so. There's a threshold at which he triggers the second phase (with the laser turrets), so if you get him to, say, 51%, you can give him one more round of all-out whacks so the second phase is shorter. Mind you, I'm not sure exactly what the threshold is, but it will become clear when you try it a few times.

Thanks for the advice! I'll try to finish it next week)
It's a great game, but the number of previous attempts to kill this boss (> 20-30) forced me to stop playing ^^

You're welcome. I guess you can also grind a little to gain a level or two and maybe a heart container. If that's your screenshot above, then five hearts would be tough to get this guy.

I didn't know Civ V until I buoght it, I was only hoping I won't be disappointed. So far 162 hours on it and this is definitely not the final number.

Surprisingly its Princess.Loot.Pixel.Again with 18.9h. I was not expecting this much of a bundled early access (at the time I got it) game but it was surprisingly good. Lucky all of you that won awesome AAA titles!

I was lucky enough to win Bioshock Triple Pack, which gave me the most incredible 129 hours! And I'm pretty sure that number will go up again more then once! ♥

Just looking at that gif gives me motion sickness. Sadly I won't be able to play that game.

Oh, don't worry, that's just from intro cinematic, there is nothing like that in the game itself!

Metal Gear Solid V - 240h and still counting. I'm trying to 100% it, but will drop it after that because MGO doesn't appeal to me much.
