In fact it does not. I tried a Oculus proto type a few months before it was released and was swept of my feet. Only had it on for 3 min or so, so too short to have a real opinion. Today I was kind of disappointed about the graphics quality of the Vive. Ok it was a bit better than the cheap Gear I have but definitely not great. It was showing pixels everywhere, all the time and that made it very clear you were wearing glasses instead of the feeling to be IN the game. I had that feeling when I had the Oculus on. Now I want to know if the Oculus will bring this if you use it longer.

I know that there's not enough interactivity with Cardboard, but for games such as GTA, Skyrim and FPS's in general, it's pretty fun... Just lacks the sensor feature but the quality is cool.
Pros
Cons
For my experience it's pretty fun, i don't use it a lot just like i don't use the wheel or anything else but my controller, i think i'm getting old! :P

I do own a Gear VR, the advanced cardboard. Works quite nice with my phone but I can't play any Steam games on it. It only works with a special mobile part of the Oculus store. And it is fun but I would like to play more and better games. Thanks for your input.

There's an article here that might be helpful. I don't own one myself. Might be interesting to check out one of these places, or perhaps rent one.

Most of the places mentioned in that article ask about the same price as when you would rent a set. This seems to be free to try out (also mentioned in the article but maybe nice to highlight it) although it seems their target group is kids aged about 10-14.

There is a VR cafe in the center, just across the train station. Just go there and try for a small fee. I don't know which city you're in but there are VR cafes in most cities.

I would really like a VR set but they are expensive. Atm the Oculus is very cheap in America and friends are going over there soon....
Today I had the chance to try out a HTC Vive for over an hour and I learned one thing. I won't buy a Vive. It's nice but not worth the money because I will need to buy an other graphics card as well to make any VR set work.
I know it is a bold question but I would really like to try a Oculus too before I consider buying one. I am willing to pay a small amount for having the chance to try one.
