Some of the stories are of an amazing quality, and also, in last ebook (best of 2015), they've got a pretty good length (i.e. The Whistlers, The patient that almost drove me out of medicine).

I can't believe "amateurs" write like this. I was so hooked :p, what a talented people!!!!

Clive Barker's books. }
Specially Hellbound Heart.
His prose is just delightful and even Stephen King said that he is the true king of the Horror genre.

I only read some short stories by Clive (¿maybe Books of Blood?) and they were great, but I didn't know how to approach his normal novels because, well, I played CB Undying and Jericho on the pc and I didn't know what to expect :p; Jericho was some kind of mess, what if his novels were the same?
I will check on Hellbound, at least I got something to start on.

I read 2033, man, some parts in the tunnels were great, the dark ones really knew how to chill the ambient, sometimes I literally felt things (I was really taken away by the book). And also I remember that strange station where Artyom and the other one were kept captives as slaves xD

2034 I really don't know anything about the plot, will check out

Great series, i was lucky to read the books first then play the games. It was awesome, i strongly advise you to play the games if you havent already. I dont want to give any spoilers but you should also read 2034..

I would DEFINITELY recommend "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King. Its probably the best story out of every Stephen King book in my opinion. Its pretty creepy and definitely a good horror book.

Ya should try "The Dark Tower" by Stephen King. That was a pretty cool, yet obscure series of books.

Bird Box by Josh Malerman is a creepy story, in case anyone was interested in a book rec. :) Basically there is suddenly "something" out there in the world widespread that causes people to go mad and kill themselves/others when they look at them, so people try to survive by keeping them out, being blindfolded, etc.

It's definitely a psychological horror/thriller, and the fact that it felt like something that could actually happen added to the creepiness. It didn't help that I was homebound with extremely blurry vision from meds at the time (I listened to the audiobook), so it felt even more realistic haha.

That take on madness through looking each other sure it's something I never heard about. Can I ask more details about your temporal blindness?

I have complex regional pain syndrome which part of that is my vision is now blurry, especially when my pain is heightened. So when I was on percocet and valium, they gave me majorly blurred vision as side effects on top of that, so I often had to just lay down and wait it out since I could barely see.
