AFAIK my profile has always been set to public. I just checked and can't even figure out how to hide just that 1 piece. I have no reason to.

I think Steam just gets over loaded. I appreciate the benefit of doubt. My favourite games include Planescape, Baldur's Gate, Xcom, Mass Effect, Fallout, Dragon Age, TorchLight, Titan Quest, BioShock. Some are played outside of Steam. I appreciate the benefit of doubt. I used to play a lot more RPG when I was a kid and back when I had no money to buy games. Got a new PC yesterday and I'm planning on going back to playing them. Hopefully on the future I'll be able to join!

I will try to apply again... long time since i tried, and i was sadly disapointed - my ratio was better, my library is mostly rpgs and still no go. Besides bundles i rarely buy non-rpgs (im a big n old fan of pen and paper), its pretty much the only genre i still buy on launch (more to be supportive then anything, because of my backlog), are amongst my most played games... i really don't get it. Was it my big backlog with little to no time played? Because i play games in other platforms, also for some time steam didn't registered my playtime (sometime ago when i was stuck on my laptop, i only played offline and things rarely registered).
I hope it was some mistake, anyway, trying again.
Im a sucker for alternative games, i prefer my rpgs turn-based or 'action rpgs' that are really action (dark souls, witcher, i think a-rpg for titles like diablo is misplaced). I had some good times with DnD but i personally prefer playing anything but DnD (much less pathfinder), love some oldschool and dungeon crawling but something on DnD doesn't click with me- i prefer retroclones then the dnd way (crazy i know).

I am a recent steam user, so my library does not show it well.
But I have played (not on steam) a lot of cool series like: Baldur Gate, Elder Scroll, Mass effect, Fallout,Poe and The Witcher ...
I think I have finished Morrowind more than 5 times :)
I am a linux user, and I decide to not reedem anymore key which are not native for linux . So as I buy some bundle (from fanatical and humble) I have often some spare key, if they are RPG, I will give them to the group (other key will go to unlucky group :) ).
I don't have a giveaway for the group yet, so I just ask for some kind of pre-check of my profile.

I'd like to apply to this group. I consider myself a somewhat seasoned roleplayer, at least according to the 20+ years I spent with them. I also spent a few years writing rp's in chats, some of them even in english. I've finished countless RPGs for the SNES and some for the Playstation. My favourites are
- SNES: Lufia 2, Breath of Fire 2, Star Ocean, Final Fantasy 2/3/5, Illusion of Time and Secret of Mana 2 aka Seiken Densetsu 3
- Playstation: Crono Cross, Final Fantasy 8, Xenogears
- PC: Every Fallout game till New Vegas, Two Worlds 1, The Witcher, Divinity 2
But since it took some time until I discovered Steam, not many are on my playlist. Usually ranging around 100 hours, with Skyrim being the only exception with a whooping 400 hours for a single playthrough.
I'd like to join in order to experience some more games of the genre that I might otherwise not be able to afford. That's the main reason, but finding a place and people to discuss such games is nice too :)

What if I love RPGs but some I play on steam some on GOG.com BUT I also want to play all the games in my backlog.

I looked at your profile and you don't need to worry. You've played plenty of RPGs and have lots of playtime.
Now, you just need to get to level 4 (and that's only basically to prove members' involvement in the SG community).
