Although I've played a lot of RPGs outside of Steam.

I'm loving RPGs since my school days, when I got my first PC and started gaming. My first RPGs were Gothic 2, Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines, both I've replayed for multiple times (well, different clans/fractions and so on). Also I've played Divine Divinity, Divinity 2 (I still consider its soundtrack the best for me), Skyrim, Diablo 3, Witcher 3, that I've completed 2 times (the second time for Triss ^^ and for another good Ciri ending of course), The Banner Saga, Fallout New Vegas...
As for my favourite one, it's definitely Pillars of Eternity (if you haven't guessed that already due to my avatar 😅). I haven't played yet the second game, just tried it for a bit, I'll probably wait for all dlcs to come and all bugs to be fixed.

mmh I love RPG's though I have not played much on steam (about 25 h of Skyrim, 25h of Fallout New Vegas, 14h Bound by Flame, some Blackguards, The Bard's Tale, and probably some I can't remember) . It probably started with Gothic 1+2 and Fallout 1+2, Morrowind, Icewind Dale and went on to many bigger and smaller RPG's over the years. Unfortunaley something called RL and work came into my life and so I can't play as much as I like anymore...gone are the student days ;(

Totally forgot Mass Effect in this list. Played through the trilogy, just not on steam.

I love RPG in all forms … pen & paper, books and games. Started back in the days with the Eye of the Beholder and Baldurs Gate. Just got me some of the old D&D collections on GOG.
