My man Bronn still needs to get paid his castle, I say give him the Red Keep and the throne with it. Of course there would be some sort of catch like the whole city is a dead ruin after the dust settles.

I think the whole point is that it doesn't matter who sits on the throne. "Breaking the wheel" will likely result in the end of the feudalism in Westeros.

I'd say it will depend on Crown Authority, although technically Dany is Born in the Purple and clearly negates the Agnatic-Cognatic Law. It can't be a primogeniture succession since she cannot have children (allegedly) so maybe they will hold an Open Elective and we will see Tyrion Lannister as Regent or perhaps the Doge of a Merchant Republic. After all he did a decent enough job as Master of Coin, iirc.

I saw on a youtube comment that the Night King will sit on the throne and get poked by a valyrian steel sword sticking out on the throne and die.

My thought is the Throne is made of Valyrian Steel and might be disassembled.

I'm pretty sure nobody will.
I'm assuming either Jon/Danaerys will form a new rule together, in which case it's likely the throne is destroyed and replaced with something else, or (perhaps more likely) everything is destroyed, and it'll end with some cheesy "it all starts over" thing where we get to see Bran (as Bran the builder) create the new world in accordance with the old stories.
Either way we'll find out in like two years if I remember correctly - they're gonna take their time making the final season.

I really wanted to know your opinion on this, guys, seeing that the season 7 finale is this sunday!
So in the poll answers I've put the most controversial characters on the show that stand a great chance to sit on the Iron Throne on the show's finale.
Right now, it really doesn't matter whose skeleton sits in it, because they're all centered in stop the Night King.
In my opinion, I think Jon will sit on the Iron Throne when the show ends. I mean, he is the true and better heir to the Iron Throne, as he is the son of prince Rhaegar. But who knows? Maybe the Night King kills them all with Viserion and his dead army.
Anyway, who do you guys think will sit on the Iron Throne when the show ends?
