Rayman Origins or Legends

Origins.

Legends is better but if you're short on cash origins is good as well.

Start with Origins. It's a great game on its own and is much cheaper. It will satisfy your hunger for platforming, eye-candy and joyful gaming while you wait for Legends to drop in price!

Go with Origins. The mechanics added in Legends are fairly intrusive and flow breaking, and both of these qualities are really not supposed to be in a platformer. The overall level and sound design is better in Origins as well (my god, the person who's responsible for the sound design in Origins should be showered in raises).

People here are forgetting that Rayman Legends comes with Rayman Origins levels... not sure if all of them but most of them anyways.

Play Origins first, that game is so much fun =D! I almost 100%'d it, I mean gold cups etc.. :)
