Even the recent war rally in Moscow is a sham.
Twitter - Unedited footage from Putin’s recent war rally in Moscow appears to show complete indifference among the captive crowd of bussed-in state workers. It seems propagandists added cheers and chants in the editing room. Is anything in Russia not faked?

The weirdo performing at the Russian war rally is Ivan Okhlobystin. His performance broadcast by Russian television.
According to this post; Ivan Ivanovich Okhlobystin...actor, director, screenwriter, and former Orthodox priest...declared himself to be a "national-patriot" and claimed to "know" that "in the year when the head of State and the head of Church in Russia will both die", he will become the next President of the new Russian Empire...he stated that he would immediately put up a new Iron Wall around Russia and start a campaign of "cleansing" in order to "rebuild the Russian nation"...he said that he wanted to "burn homosexuals alive"...

China Warns U.S. of Grave Consequences if Ukraine Joins NATO

China warned the United States it could face severe consequences—including the prospect of nuclear war—if it allows Ukraine to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), drawing the 30-member alliance into the country's conflict with Russia.

Dictators protect each other. It does not seem that Ukraine can count on Xi Jinping.
At this stage, it is mainly Putin who is against Ukraine joining NATO. There's no point in following Putin's game rule. The sooner Ukraine joins NATO, the better.

Fun fact about the China-Ukraine relations, there is a nuclear security guarantee.

In a unilateral governmental statement in 1994, China provided Ukraine with nuclear security guarantee, where China states its inclination to peaceful settlement of differences and disputes by way of fair consultations. In December 2013, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping signed a bilateral treaty and published a joint statement, where China reaffirmed that it will provide Ukraine with nuclear security guarantees upon nuclear invasion or threats of invasion. However, the initial coverage by Xinhua, the Chinese government's official press agency, avoided the term "nuclear umbrella", but said that China is offering Ukraine "security guarantee," though People's Daily, the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, used the headline "China offers Ukraine nuclear umbrella protection", which has been censored since. According to Wu Dahui, a professor at the Department of International Relations at Tsinghua University in Beijing, the promise is simply a manifestation of Beijing's global nonproliferation responsibilities.

The era of mutual surveillance of neighbors, the encouragement of tattling, and the ability to get ahead by calling those nearby "enemies of Russia" for one's own convenience, regardless of guilt or false accusation, have all returned.
And even if they rise in the ranks, they will end up in the same position when they are fingered as "Russia's enemies.

Another escalation by putler. Russia is apparently sending a nuclear military train to Ukraine. Which could mean Russia is preparade to hold a nuclear tests at the border.

Could be fun if UA managed to destroy this train.

Side note - at this point it is speculated USA has threatened to destroy ALL military Russia has in UA if they resort to nuclear weapons. That would be a crazy escalation in the conflict, but its either that or giving in, which would lead just to another blood thirsty dictator wanting to take over the world. AKA hitler 2.0

Celebrity News - Steven Seagal Given Land by Russia Previously Allocated for Sick Children

Putin's friend, actor and martial arts practitioner Steven Seagal has been given land by authorities in the prestigious Rublevka area near Moscow that was previously allocated for the care of children with cancer. More precisely, the land was given to a company in which Seagal holds a 26% stake in. The company intends to build an International Center for Martial Arts at the site.

Make sense, Steven Seagal can only win martial fights against sick children, it would be a mistake to cure children.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/ukraine-war-russia-warns-us-072136485.html

another day another threat to USA about this escalating into direct conflict.
It just makes me wonder, They are now losing because west has supplied UA with modern weapons and trained the soldiers. THEY ARE LOSING are they key words here. Solovyov has changed his rhetoric about destroying UA to trying to blame their setbacks on wests support. And he is a puppet of Kremlin afterall.

So in the eyes of Russia they are losing to a much smaller army just because west is supplying it. They had to do mobilization and beg for weapons from china and north korea. They are sending old equipment and ill equipped soldiers to frontlines. And that is only against UA.

What do they expect to accomplish if they go into direct conflict with west? Lets not kid ourselves - if USA gets involved so does EU countries. Either kremlin is seriously retarded and doesn't realize they are weak military wise or they are bluffing enormously. They can't just think nuclear weapons would let them win? Of course it would be disastrous if even one nuke was detonated... but Russia would be plowed to the ground. Nothing in Russias military shows they could stand against USA or EU....

I mean logically thinking - how they have performed in UA really doesn't show there is any hope for Russia if they'd bluff their way into direct conflict. I have a feeling they are trying to bluff their way into USA getting scared without any backup plan in case of bluff not working out.

Of course the west has had a lot to do with supplying superior weapons vs old rusty Russian material. And I am very happy we do. That way the better trained army of Ukraine stands a way better chance against the massive Russian cannon fodder.
I hope The Ukraine can get a lot more ground back before the harsh winter starts.
Putin is desperate because he lost literally in all fronts. He knows he can't start an war with NATO because he knows Russia will be wiped of planet earth. The only thing he has left is the nuclear threat. In that doom scenario Russia will have a total annihilation within the first week. And huge parts of Europe and the USA will be totally destroyed too. Luckily most experts say it is all bluff. And luckily Putin doesn't have a red button and he needs approval.

Депутат Фёдоров: "Мы проиграем эту войну, если не нанесём ядерный удар по США"
https://military.pravda.ru/news/1755963-jadernyi_udar_po_ssha/

(machine translation)

MP Fedorov: "We will lose this war if we don't launch a nuclear strike against the U.S."

Defeating the Kiev regime on the battlefield is impossible because we are at war with NATO, said State Duma deputy Evgeny Fedorov.

Unlike the Russian army, the North Atlantic Alliance has an almost endless military resource, the parliamentarian noted.

"It (military resource. - Ed. commentary) is a hundred times more," he said.

In order for the United States to understand the seriousness of Moscow's intentions, a new Cuban Missile Crisis must take place, the MP said. For example, hitting a ballistic missile at a nuclear test site in Nevada.

"We will lose this war if we don't launch a nuclear strike against the United States," Fedorov is sure.

Earlier, a military expert suggested that the Ukrainian militant offensive will stop in November.

🙄I have a feeling that when the final preparations for the shoot are made, Russia will be the first to disappear from the map.

It is up to humanity to understand them, whether to rejoice that the Russian government finally has a real opinion in parliament, or to think of them as a sane, vodka-drinking figure.

Poland suggests hosting US nuclear weapons amid growing fears of Putin’s threats | Poland | The Guardian
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/oct/05/poland-us-nuclear-wars-russia-putin-ukraine

There are those who want nuclear warheads aimed at Russia much closer to Russia than to the U.S. mainland.
Thanks to the opinions of Russian lawmakers, we may end up depositing nuclear warheads in Ukraine.🇺🇦
Realistically, Ukraine will defend being an advanced denuclearized country, so they will defend it solidly without deploying it.

Broadly speaking, the story is that Ukraine currently has little chance of losing.
Soon it will be joined by a Ukrainian elite that has been drafted in Ukraine, trained and equipped for months at a time by NATO.
Those who were drafted and assigned to the Russian front lines seem to have gone to the other side of 🕳.
Thus, it is useless to be drafted in Russia and sent to the front lines in three days.
On the contrary, it is dragging down the elite who have received military training in Russia for a long time.
And the elites are almost completely worn out before they see Kiev and return to Russia.

New satellite images show Russia's nuke-carrying submarine Belgorod lurking in the Arctic | Daily Mail Online
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11284097/New-satellite-images-Russias-nuke-carrying-submarine-Belgorod-lurking-Arctic.html

At one time, there was some nonsense about an attack on the UK and the equipment was described in these reports as a marvel, but it is powerless while its location is known.
The surprise nature of submarines is frightening.
However, once their location is known, they are no different from ordinary targets.

Since Russia has no spare options, it seems that the only thing it can do is to make a false threat with the contents of its equipment.
A dozen similar operational submarines would have been a threat.
Since they don't exist, there is nothing to worry about.

A twisted development about a video shared earlier.
It's a video staged by Wagner mercenaries. (I should have read this comment here in the blue square)
Putin Has 'Lost Control' as Infighting Breaks Out Among Russia's Elite
Newsweek talks about this video: https://twitter.com/kromark/status/1577767405157289998
The same video subtitled: https://twitter.com/Gerashchenko_en/status/1577935494356385794

Why would Wagner make such a video? Probably to undermine Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu. But Putin needs his favorite scapegoat, Shoigu. Perhaps Wagner mercenaries also planned to undermine Putin.
About Prigozhin the oligarch who controls the Wagner Group. Did Prigozhin order the Wagner mercenaries to make this video? I don't know.
If infighting breaks out between Wagner and Shoigu, Putin's power is not what it used to be.

As a consequence - [VIDEO] A Wagner propagandist, Alexey Slobodenyuk who's been attacking Shoigu online arrested in Moscow by SOBR Rosgvardia spetsnaz unit. SOBR are highly loyal to Putin. That this arrest was not made by the FSB, as you'd expect, is indicative of internal power struggle & distrust.

There was indeed a purchase, but it appears to be a purchase that has continued from the past.

The supposed use of Russian tactical nuclear weapons against Ukraine is considered a possibility by both President Zelensky and President Biden.
Therefore, we are aware that they are probably procuring them as part of their strategic stockpile.
Even in normal times, this stockpile is needed to respond to a nuclear accident.
(The U.S. continued purchases have been the right response to the world situation!)

[Personal Nonsense]

However, given President Biden's motivation to actively launch nuclear weapons....
Is it that his son's corruption-related issues make his future support uncertain?
Is it possible that he would choose to launch a strategic nuclear attack on the Russian government as an act of "creating a legacy in history" before the pressure from Russia results in his ouster as president? In terms of "justice" and "faith," it is more likely than Putin's tactical nuclear attack on Ukraine or the United States.
Whatever the facts, the question is what is President Biden's "perception" of the situation.
The story of his searching around for a living ally who disappeared a month ago is still fresh in our minds.

The recent tone down of Putin's words and actions toward Ukraine is of little significance.
It seems to me that the best way to avoid a crisis is to replace the representative of the Russian government.

Yeah, right. woman with 2 years old child and other civilians are really dangerous enemies. This is not an isolated case, but a whole system. Here is a video appeal from the 25th Airborne Assault Brigade, which refused to carry out such orders. But as we can see, not everyone in Ukraine is such a soldier, and the rest calmly carry out orders to kill civilians in the liberated territories. These soldiers have already been declared deserters and it is quite possible that a tribunal awaits them.

Comment has been collapsed.

Stop with this out of context bullshit again.
Firstly the fact she is mother of two young children doesn't change the fact she has committed treason against state and has been ordered to be arrested.

btw - not a 2 year old, but TWO young boys.... which just shows you are reading this between the lines to pull out only sentences you want and show them out of context

Secondly - nowhere it says she has been killed. Most are being arrested and face jailtime. Only 29 have been killed. Out of 1309 opened cases. So most likely she is going to be arrested (rightfully so) and tried for treason (again - rightfully so) just like some other already have been (as its stated right there in the fucking article)

So while the article does show some unsettling things about how Ukraine looks at traitors, your pathetic attempt to pull it out of context and try to make UA look like some animals is like I said - sad and pathetic. Just stop. Or are you going for a pay raise so you can earn money with which to flee Ukraine when Russia will be beaten?

Stop with this out of context bullshit again.

I posted an article from western media that Ukrainian soldiers are killing civilians. Also posted video from 25th Airborne Assault Brigade which confirms scuh orders to kill civillians and refused to obey such commands. What is out of context for you here?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

You literally posted a quote out of context with incorrect caption - the UA military does not say it about UA citizens. It was stated by adviser about those who have committed treason and actually goes like this :

A hunt has been declared on collaborators and their life is not protected by law,’ said Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the interior ministry. ‘Our intelligence services are eliminating them, shooting them like pigs.’

Is it better? I don't know, I still think that's a coarse statement by a government official, but we are talking about 29 cases that have been killed by resistance. Out of 1309 cases and 450 prosecutions. And the article also comments on those who have been arrested. So even if this is carried out by secret service in some blacklist mission, I highly doubt they are going after mothers but highly dangerous individuals (criminals, those who first hand took part of torture etc)... not some fake mayors or propagators on social media.

Also bringing up the women, again, out of context is not necessary but you of course tried to do it in order to make it look like UA military is planning to slaughter a mother of two children. No - that is not the case. She has not been killed and I highly doubt anyone will kill her. If she is mentioned in the article it probably means she has a prosecution against here and will be arrested.

I won't comment more on the killings - it's still open question of who is doing that. Is it really orchestrated by UA secret service and is it predefined list of individuals or random killings. But you came here and pulled stuff out of context just like the author did writing that headline... Which is fucking incorrect and restates the actual quote it is derived from.....

PS. not citizens. don't thrown that word around. Those are people who openly supported Russian invasion and collaborated in the process. So they are criminals in the eyes of law. This is not someone who is arrested or poisoned just by voicing opinion against the regime - these are persons who literally collaborated with invasive force in which the country is at war with.

PPS. the point is not about me agreeing with murder or whatever. The point is - don't post a link with arbitrary quote in order to spread misinformation. Post the full quote and elaborate on it. I try to do that, most others try. Why can't you? We don't need people going over comments only and forming opinions without getting the full info

You are trying to picture the army defending your country (once you mentioned here that you are Ukrainian, what I highly doubt) from foreign invasion as bloody killers giving and executing (except this sane guys of 25th Airborne Assault Brigade, ofc) the orders to kill own civilians.

One, reading your interpretation of the video with these deserters, may think like there are some evidence of the orders by Ukrainian officer like "Kill that woman and crucify her 2 years boy", but luckily the good fellows on the video refused to execute the order to kill this civilians. And that's why they left their positions (btw, they flee only of course of the order of their now dead sergeant - otherwise this dudes will stay on the position and cover the flanks of other units)

Its literally stated in the article that they are collaborators who assisted tortures, executions and other atrocities... not some regular citizens. Not that I agree with these people being "slaughtered" of course, but they are war criminals who should be jailed. So hunting them down has to happen either way.

And are we talking some simple guy sitting in room and waiting to surrender or are we talking an armed Russian collaborator who is openly fighting against UA forces? Because newsflash - there is war going on.

And don't try to twist my words as you trolls usually do - I am not saying "sLaUgHtEr ThEm lIkE pIgS". That is harsh and IMO not something that a person from government should say, but taking it out of context is sad and pathetic. But so is everything you trolls do.

Dude, did you read by yourself the article you are pointing out an evidence of Ukrainian' brutality further than it's misleading header?

Thank you for the article, btw. It is totally packed by stories about what an real beasts are your ruzzi.

When Russians took over the city of Balakliya, eastern Ukraine, they turned the central police station into a base for brutality.

During the six months it spent under enemy occupation, scores of local residents were locked in overcrowded cells in the basement. Survivors told of being dragged to a torture chamber where they were beaten, electrocuted and forced to endure mock executions.

The interrogations were carried out by officials from Russia’s Federal Security Service, according to documents retrieved after the town’s recapture last month during Ukraine’s stunning counter-offensive.

The horror stories emerging in liberated towns such as Balakliya, a railway hub of 30,000 people, have become hideously familiar in recent months: of Russian atrocities, mass graves, torture and war crimes. Yet the uncomfortable truth is that some Ukrainians (just like you, HammerFall93) have been assisting Vladimir Putin’s war crimes and theft of their land.

Thank you for the article, collaborator

Ukraine Defense Ministry made up a story of "mini Auschwitz"

Report from Ukrainian Defense Ministry on Tuesday posted a photograph of a box of "gold dental crowns" they claimed were extracted from Ukrainian victims in a "torture chamber" in Pisky-Radkivski they dubbed a "mini Auschwitz."

"A torture chamber in Pisky-Radkivski," the Ukrainian Defense Ministry tweeted. "2 photos. A gas mask that was put on the head of a victim who was covered with a smoldering rag and buried alive. And a box of gold dental crowns. A mini Auschwitz. How many more will be found in occupied Ukraine?"

Now the trolls will come running and tell you how dare you expose their lies. Surely Russian soldiers stole the dentist's family from the dentist and threaten to kill it if he did not take full responsibility. Or will insist that maybe teeth were stolen from dantist but the "torture chamber" trully was.

Can you imagine, the trolls will only quote exactly THAT linked source. What a seer you are!

"It is not clear where the gas mask came from that can be seen on the other photo. One thing is certain: gruesome torture did take place in the village, just as in many other places occupied by the Russians. Several locals told BILD that they kept hearing cries for help from various buildings.

Volodya (46) was one of the victims of torture by the Russian soldiers in Pisky-Radkivski. A neighbour had denounced him as pro-Ukrainian. Volodya: “They just took me with them. While I was beaten, they said to me: ‘If you don’t work for us, we’ll shoot you in the legs, and that’s it’. The other one said: ‘We should shoot him in the legs, we’ll have to deal with him just like with the other one’. The room and ceiling were full of bullet holes. I think they wanted to scare the person who was there before me.”

Andrey (46) was held by the Russians for weeks. His wife Olga told BILD: “About eight people came to our farm. Two controlled our papers. They gave me my papers back, but they took my husband with them, because he was on the list.”

Andrey was gone for two months. Russian soldiers kept him in a basement for five days, beat him up, and transported him to different cities and places. He was forced to clean the streets there. Later, they forced him to dig trenches in Lyman for the Russian soldiers"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zero_Hedge#Launch_to_2014

In September 2009, journalist Joe Hagan wrote that Zero Hedge's founder was "a zealous believer in a sweeping conspiracy that casts the alumni of Goldman Sachs as a powerful cabal at the helm of U.S. policy."[2] In September and October 2009, Financial journalists Felix Salmon and Justin Fox characterized the site as conspiratorial.[86][42] However, Justin Fox, went on to describe Ivandjiiski as "a wonderfully persistent investigative reporter" and credited him for successfully turning high-frequency trading "into a big political issue," but also termed most of the writing on the website as "half-baked hooey," albeit with some "truth to be gleaned from it."[42]

The Pro Ukraine groupies will dismiss a source for many reasons so I thought I would point out Wikipedia isn't a trusted source.

My motivation is raising awareness of the situation in Ukrainian, like the thread title says.. I am also trying to reply to everyone who comments to me.

Why would I need to challenge Russian propaganda when most people in this thread are already doing it? Just because I haven't felt like I needed to reply to the obvious.

Again I do not have a bias toward Russia I have a bias against western nations thinking they have the right to overthrow government and install leaders who will be their puppets.

1) russia started a war against independent country and invaded a big portion of it's territory
2) russia bombs every single day Ukrainian cities with missiles and bombs
3) russia killed already thousands of Ukrainian ppl
4) on the territories they occupied they torture local ppl
5) millions of Ukrainian families suffered from this ugly war waged by ruzzia and this has no any excuses.

Thank you

You really are not getting why everyone can't stand you here?

There is no possibility of saying "I support no one". Russia invaded a sovereign country. Period.

It is in the context irrelevant what happened before or after. Of course UA and RUS both have been lying and trying to make other look bad. Of course USA has been meddling in local politics. As have Russia.

BUT Russia invaded a god damn fucking country. INVADED A COUNTRY. None of that had to happen. Zero. So fuck your "neutral" stance. This is a land grab that has caused cities leveled, people killed on both sides. Millions of people dislocated due to war. People being tortured.

Russia is solely at fault here. Completely and fully alone. So there is only one stance here - against Russia. You dont invade a country. (and stick your arguments of USA starting wars where sun don't shine - it's irrelevant here. And as I've stated for all I care USA could crumble to ground with shit you do, but that is completely irrelevant here again). Russia didn't have to invade. And I am going to repeat it another million times until you get it into your dense head. Being neutral just shows you are arrogant.

Sorry for getting crude here, but seriously. It's getting annoying. Every day Russia continues this senseless war people - both Russians and Ukrainians - will die. And no - UA doesn't have to "stop" defending their territories. Anyone who says UA has to give in needs reality check of what is going on.

I am glad you speak for everyone here. When was the election?
The history is relevant to why the war is happening, who is at fault, and how peace can be found. I don't have two choose between the lesser of two evils. That isn't arrogance that is logical. There was almost a peace deal in April 2022 https://scheerpost.com/2022/09/01/report-russia-ukraine-tentatively-agreed-on-peace-deal-in-april/ Who ended the deal?

A major factor in the failed negotiated settlement was pressure from the West. According to a report from Ukrainska Pravda, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to stop negotiating with Russia when he visited Kyiv on April 9.

We have been dealing here with holier-than-thou characters like you since beginning of war. Thinking you are so superior because you claim neutrality. So maybe I don't speak for everyone here, but I'm pretty sure the stance others have against the likes of you

Russia didn't need to invade. Solve your inferiority complex diplomatically. Not by some previous century old degenerate tactics.
You are sitting in comfort half the world away and try to teach people here how to deal with shit. We, who live near Russia and Ukraine, have been dealing with Russians and their imperialistic attitude since the fall of soviet union. The war affects all of us and many people in EU actually have seen UA war firsthand. It's not some bullshit about believing propaganda. My previous workplace started donating vehicles to UA, the number is in several hundred already. They go to UA themselves and give the cars over.

It's not looking at pictures or reading some moron from USA writing about what he thinks is going on based on some propagator inside UA. Those are firsthand experiences.

As for pressure from west - Well, with war crimes and constant lying Russia does, I have no surprise why Johnson would have urged UA not to give in. And frankly I believe that is the correct way - neighboring countries are all fearing what will happen if Russia wins or gets their way. Just my opinion, but I hardly believe Russia would that easily agree to pull out their forces. And Johnson was most likely in on what the military support is going to be for UA and played the cards on UA winning, hence no negotiations. And seriously - Russia had parade equipment sent to Kyiv ......... Does that sound like someone who is ready to settle a deal of pulling the troops? That sounds like another dirty russian trick of settling the battleground so they can regroup

please don't use german yellow press as reliable source, they're constantly mocked here, for making up stories and are a very shady source for information
why didn't you linked to more reliable sources like them?

You always try to find something to complain about. I am not going to look for all sources of a new article to find one you like better or that frame the story in a way you like. It seems with the information I share you were able to see it was true.

Did you read your links? It's russians who made up this story to scare people, and that's russians stole those dental crowns for that purpose (and maybe they really thought those are made of gold, russians are stupid enough for that). Why you post something with links that prove that you just lied?

The Ukraine defense ministry posted this information to twitter. How am I mistaken? The Independent and The Telegraph ran the story too. Read the information liberation link to see the Twitter posts. Why are you lying about what I posted?

But Ukraine defense ministry did not "made up a story" as you lied. They just believed that it's true, but the story was made up by russian terrorists. And I can't even blame them for being so naive - after all war crimes russian made, it's easy to believe they did something more of the same kind, especially when they actually pretend that they did.

Massive explosion on Crimea’s Kerch bridge, Russian state media reports

There seems to be a video on Twitter from someone who filmed there.
🌉🔥📹

RIA (🇷🇺) says fuel vehicle fire closed

Comparing the Russian announcement with what was filmed there...
Certainly there are vehicles burning on the road above.

However, the lower road is submerged in the sea.
For the lower road to collapse, it is unlikely that this shape was created by an explosion from above, so if it was blown up with explosives from under the bridge, it means that someone set it up locally.
Attack from below...what is it?🤔<This is my lax prediction.

By the way, if this bridge does not work, the lack of water on the Crimean peninsula will be fatal.
Originally, water was supplied from the Ukrainian mainland, but since Russia destroyed the water supply infrastructure when it withdrew, the region has been dependent on Russian water supply since then.
It won't take too long for both soldiers and residents to be in serious condition with supplies gone. I am worried.

A small clarification. The Crimean canal, through which the water supply was carried out earlier, was closed by a dam and the destruction was of the dam, which was just standing on the canal, and not the canal infrastructure itself. And the canal begins in the Kherson region. And barrels of diesel fuel were burning on the bridge.

North Crimean Canal - Wikipedia

Ukraine shut down the canal in 2014 soon after the Russian annexation of Crimea, but flow of water was restored in March 2022 during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. A 2015 study found that the canal had been providing 85% of Crimea's water prior to the canal's 2014 shutdown.

This was retweeted by New Voice of Ukraine journalist Euan McDonald, who wrote that Nova Kakhovka was "an important objective as it's at the head of the canal that supplies Ukraine's Russian-occupied Crimea with lots of its water."
As well as having a power station and dam, Nova Kakhovka lies downstream of the source of the start of the North Crimean Canal (NCC), which takes fresh water to Crimea. Western officials have said that Ukraine taking control of such a nexus would be a significant development in the war.

"I believe Ukrainian forces will try to block the NCC if they manage to control that area," Alla Hurska, an analyst at the Jamestown Foundation, told Newsweek.

It seems more natural to think of them as related.

Unless the conversation was about the Kerch Bridge. There was a conversation about the CHANNEL. Do not confuse.
But about the bridge, I just added that these are barrels of diesel fuel.

There was originally this message.

By the way, if this bridge does not work, the lack of water on the Crimean peninsula will be fatal.
Originally, water was supplied from the Ukrainian mainland, but since Russia destroyed the water supply infrastructure when it withdrew, the region has been dependent on Russian water supply since then. https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/s70SFo5

https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/JQNAJj2 in this message there was a clarification about the water that it is supplied through the channel, to which there was a refutation, https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/R1dkMB2 although in fact there were no photo facts attached, but only a comment by a representative of Ukraine, who was at that moment at a distance of 200 km from the scene of the action, which was noticed with the indication of settlements (larger) more loved ones https://www.steamgifts.com/go/comment/dAdXw2h . In addition, there was also a message with a video clip of the dam explosion itself (it was blown up badly, it needs to be redone, but all this can be redone).
But no one argued about the explosion of the bridge. It was only about the water blockade.

So far I think I've seen an article stating that a "truck registered in Russia" blew up and they are going to check the homes of the people involved.

However, I think I saw a tweet claiming that someone was watching on REALTIME that there was no such thing in the "local surveillance" video.

Maybe the local Russian military is making a scapegoat to escape responsibility, but I can't say for sure.
Perhaps in a couple of days, the information on the Internet will be sorted out and more details will become available.
So no rush on this one.

Christo Grozev on Twitter: "Kremlin tells Crimea residents to not panic about petrol supplies, as "there are reserves for at least two weeks" Crimea residents: " / Twitter

📹
What I can say for sure is that word has spread locally that there is only a two-week supply of gasoline in the Crimean Peninsula, and the buying up of gasoline seems to be underway.
The more soldiers there are, the faster local supplies will be depleted.
How much that will be depends on the total number of Russian troops who are lying low, so I dare not pursue the matter.

Perhaps this is because there are too many soldiers and they are being consumed too quickly.
The sooner civilian life is overwhelmed, the sooner the soldiers will not be able to sustain themselves and will be withdrawn soon.
This means that Ukraine will come soon to retake the Crimean peninsula.

Thank you for the correction - I'm not English speaker, so I write as I can - further on I will write "Because". Thanks for you pointing that up, rly.

My point was to ask to replace "They are more inclined to this." to "They are more inclined to such (thing alike, whatever)."

Because originally it sounds like exactly that machinery was the source of Kerch bridge damage this moring. That ... idk how that thing is called ... that thing on the picture was discover weeks ago. I was not aimed to correct someone's grammar

That's it. But you may continue enjoining the irony moment.

CNN

Russia restores some travel on the bridge: Russian officials rushed to investigate the explosion and restore partial service on the bridge's parallel rail and roadway structures. By evening, limited car traffic resumed on undamaged parts of the bridge and train service had restarted. The blast disrupted major transport links, however, and Russian officials planned to use ferries for trucks. The Kremlin said Putin has signed a decree strengthening the bridge's defenses, but provided few other details.

At least, half of the road bridge is unusable and the day has been prolific in memes.
