I keep seeing tragedies from the war.
I don't know why NATO has not made a no-fly zone yet.
I don't know why NATO has not transferred their jets yet.

But, in my game, you shall have the jets.
In my game, there shall be no missiles hit hospitals or schools

https://youtu.be/DWgNJVNvu1w
And an updated version: https://youtu.be/veX2o67HXCA

I know in real life it's almost impossible for jets to intercept missiles. But, things can be different in the games.

It is unfortunate that in 17 days of war and thousands of peaceful Ukrainians killed, you continue to blame putin, not the russian people. As long as you don't understand this, I don't feel sorry for you. Ah right, then let's check one of your "facts"

Ukraine does not know how to use weapons, this is a fact and shoots anywhere.

So if the Ukrainians wouldn't know how to use their weapons, how come Russia didn't achieve much yet?
Your army already performs miserably considering the actual resistance they meet. But if your "fact" would be true, the Russian army would be the laughing stock of the world.

I`m going to do the unforgiving and feed the troll :(

But I will assume you know the truth but simply try to push the propoganda. You do realize people from all around the Europe are going to Ukraine and seeing what putin is doing first hand ? What russian army is doing ? We have drones and cameras on the frontline 24/7. We see everything.

Have you forgotten that it`s the 21st century ? If putin can block any information he deems against his dictatorship he does it and russians will believe it. But you do realize that basically nowhere outside of russia this propoganda works ? We get videos and photos from non-ukrainians who go to help and donate stuff.

putin literally has spoken to china and that sucker lukashenko about invasion. putin is asking for military equipment to china. kremlin is constantly being contradictory between stories about "liberation" and "invasion". I mean if your target is to rile everyone up - good job. I suppose the 1 EUR (or 100000000000 ruble) is well earned for you. If you truly believe the lies of kremlin - wow I feel sorry for you. Wake up.

btw. Russia has weird food trucks in form of tanks, attack helicopters and jets. I suppose they are dropping huge loads of food for them to make such destruction.. oh wait - yeah.. it`s Ukrainians themselves... how dumb of me

https://twitter.com/OsintRazor/status/1503017367076581382 (but yeah, this is probably state funded propoganda from ukraine.. they must be rich as fuck to buy so much russian military equipment for simple propoganda videos)

You're right, they don't. But it's also not THAT simple. If you lived under a regime that rules by fear, you would be hesitant to speak out. That's what's happening. Also, Putin has made sure that people cannot organise any protest events via social media. Maybe they will find a way, but at the moment, every time a smaller protest manages to gather, police break it up and arrest people. Putin knows full well that he has a lot of silent opposition out there and is terrified of a coup. That's why he's keeping the streets clear.

To date, there are close to 15,000 arrests in Russia related to anti-war protests. Yet, there are people who still do it everyday knowing they'll likely get arrested. It takes a really brave person to do that, and most people are not that brave, unfortunately.

She was a normal person beforehand, got pulled into it by someone else, and now she's just full of these conspiracy theories and I don't think we can bring her back. A person really can be that lost, unfortunately. Putin has managed to do this en masse by filling people with two decades of rubbish about how NATO is a danger to Russia.

Sheep? Really? I'm not the one thinking that a country is not getting bombed and that people are not dying. That civilians are not being shot at as they try to make their way out of cities. I am not the one who denies the words of those poor people that have made their way to Poland and talk about the horrors unleashed on them by Russian military.

Just stop.

And I was one of those people that used to think "America always portrays Russia so bad in movies. America is hard on Russia. Russia is not that bad." Europe used to laugh at America's portrayal of Russia. Now I feel differently. Putin has made me realise that maybe America was right to be wary of Russia. Putin has just succeeded in turning all Europeans against him, where most of us were probably indifferent to him before. I do not hold anything against the normal Russian people. But I do against Russian trolls like you and your master DICKtin/Putler. I am no sheep. I am free to make up my own mind.

Welcome to my ignore list.

Keep your fake money.

In any war military kills civilians, mostly by accident I want to believe. But on purpose too, targetting places without checking if there are civilians or not, just to be safe.
In Spain we still remember about a periodist killed on 2003 during the war on Irak by USA
So to be clear, I'm not just accussing only Russia but it happens that now Russia started this "Security operation".

Do you really believe those attacks on hospitals are fake? If yes, you wouldn't mind to be there while they were bombing with "fake bombs".

Obviously, there aren't any "official" proven war crimes because no trial has happened... yet.
This could be Nuremberg 2.0 and it will be awesome for humankind if it achieves that someone (ANY country) thinks a lot before starting another war.

There's just a difference between "right" and "opportunity"...

citizens of Russia have the right to create an anti-war petition (this does not violate any laws), the authorities simply will not allow the creation of such petitions on a state resource.

Here, as with protests, you can submit an application to the authorities to hold a rally, it will simply never be approved.

Hypothetically, you have the legal right to participate in a single picket (i.e. take a poster and stand with it), you do not need a permit to hold a rally... but you will be arrested.
1) At the first arrest, a fine of 30,000 rubles (despite the fact that the salary of the majority is 30,000-35,000 rubles per month)
2) At the second arrest, everything will repeat (a fine of 30,000 rubles)
3) And after the 3rd arrest, you will have a choice to go to jail (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code of Russia, 5 years of imprisonment) or emigrate quickly.

The Russian authorities are indifferent to any protests and petitions. When protests were still allowed in Russia (their symbol was a white ribbon), the president of Russia called this ribbon a «condom» and laughed at the protesters on the air of state media.video

That's why you must win. For the sake of democracy, for the sake of freedom, for the sake of liberty.
In a nation ruled by a dictator, all the rules, laws, regulations, government mechanisms are just his tools to enslave people instead of something people can use to limit his power. Ignore all the fancy words written in the constitution, the dictator just make it his plaything. And people become hopeless to change anything in any meaningful way when playing with such rules.

Once people give in to such slavery, they will get used to such new "normal" within years. They will then start to defend their slavemaster as if everything is justified.

A recent view.
[Russia📺]
Russian anti-war protest videos are up on Twitter and You Tube, and Telegram's OVD-Info has information that she is being detained by Moscow police.
The story is that her father is Ukrainian and her mother is Russian.

[A story with redeeming qualities]
External power transmission at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been restored and cooling has settled down.
Staff have suspended operations due to exhaustion.

[Recently Concerned].
There was an incident of a drone flying from Ukraine and falling over three NATO countries.
There is also information from Ukrainian government sources that a Russian drone has also crashed in Croatia.
On the 14th and 15th, the areas of damage were mainly concentrated in the eastern part of the country due to diplomatic negotiations.
It is said that 100% of Russia's pre-deployed forces were deployed into Ukraine.
It would be a terrible story if you take into account the replacement of troops and dealing with wounded soldiers, and counting casualties after the war would definitely not be a job I would recommend.

[Concerns]
In any case, it is on Twitter that information is most likely to surface in this war.

However, to avoid "information propaganda" after the violence has been adjudicated, images of the wounded and victims posted on primary sources are not posted on secondary sources for the public to view.

Telegram's Ukraine connection as a 1.5 primary source is said to be a bit more horrifying, but good kids, don't go looking.
You might not be able to sleep ...

Just keep in mind that the war is just a processed video game landscape and there are much more horrific things going on.
(In the sense that it has been edited to soften the psychological shock).

[extra]
Speaking of which, there is a US military related site like this one.
If you want to know what kind of equipment is being used against Russia or what kind of places have been attacked by missiles, this may be helpful.📝

first: many children leaved to europe, but there are still enough people (and children) who dont want to leave ukraine

second think about it:
an ukrainian solder try to hide a bomb and he
does it not at night, when he cant be found that easyly but during day
wears a huge ukrainian flagg on his arm, so everybody "knows" its an ukrainian person
and ofc a uniform so everybody knows the "government" is bad
also: the way he is wearing the mine looks pretty strange (like in a bad movie...). if it explodes easylie by movement, you dont want to have it hanging on a string... it also makes it more difficult to place it safely :( but at least it looks this way more like "it must be dangerous"^^

An animal control catchpole and a vodka bottle.
You can hold a mine safely in your hands it requires a decent amount of pressure before it goes boom.
Obviously a fake news video.

is it really how mines are placed on the ground ? with a long rod. Wouldn't it be less dangerous to activate it only when it's on the floor ?

I don't think the video is legit but I'm curious. Any military can confirm the rod method ?

That mine strangely looks a lot like a vodka bottle. :DDD
Secondly you have to bury landmines a bit so it isn't seen. That is why landmines were a problem after wars in the past.
So yes that video is a clear fake.

I was asking that because I thought Russians would, at least, know how to use a mine.

But I think it's just a made up element to make it more visual. Otherwise we wouldn't clearly understand what he is doing.

It appears that there was no imprisonment, although he was convicted afterwards of the protest within the Russian TV broadcast.
In any case, I hope she stays safe until things settle down.

Russian soldiers refusing to redeploy to Ukraine, become 'cannon fodder' | Euromaidan Press
👀…
There are also descriptions of Russian soldiers who seem to have been tricked and traumatized into entering Ukrainian territory.

It would be synonymous with "go die" if you fight once and return to supply and there is no supply when you go out again.

There are also descriptions of Russian soldiers being detained by military police for refusing orders.

As with the "supply trucks" and "the end result" above one, it seems to me that Russian troops entering the Ukrainian interior today are definitely bogged down from both feet in a nightmarish situation.

Although information is still mixed, there are reports that rebel groups within Belarus have bombed a factory in a southwestern Belarusian city.

Franak Viačorka on Twitter: "Belarusians interrupt the movement over the railway to stop the deployment of Russia's equipment to Ukraine. Yesterday, they stopped the trains near the Belarus-Ukraine border. No one in the country supports the Russian invasion. Belarusians keep fighting by all possible means. " / Twitter

Pavel Latushka on Twitter: "Statement by @nau_belarus on the facts of Belarus' occupation by #Russia, the significant loss of control over the country's territory by the illegitimate government of #Lukashenka and drawing #Belarus into a war with #Ukraine. 🎥⬇️ " / Twitter

There was also a recent action to stop the transportation of supplies from Belarus to Ukraine to Russia, so this action may be related to Ukraine.

In all likelihood, we should wait and see how things go for a while since the information is so mixed.📺💻👀

Facebook removes ‘deepfake’ of Ukrainian President Zelenskyy - The Verge

This is a story that shows that unless multiple sources of information can be confirmed, it should not be considered as fact.👀

My apologies if this has already been posted. It's an important interview and one that, I believe, is being largely ignored by media in the USA, in favor of war mongering and nasty partisan politics. When Zelensky says "only dialogue" it's time for the west to listen and do everything in their power to make that happen instead of pushing questionable, nefarious agendas.

No idea where you see the media or the West disregarding a diplomatic solution. It's only pretty obvious that Ukraine is in a better position to negotiate if they can make peace attractive to Putin too. Therefore the sanctions and weapon deliveries.

Not to mention that they already do negotiate. But negotiation doesn't necessarily end in success.Especially with Putin and Lavrov.

I see it in the media in the USA as I stated. Perhaps media is different in your country. Not sure why you assumed I was referring to sanctions and weapon supplies. I'm not. I'll be more specific - there are a lot of leaders as well as news outlets in my country recklessly calling for a no fly zone over Ukraine. It's stupid and it's scary, and I can only hope it's mere political posturing. Meanwhile, the prevalent attitude of legacy media here leaves very little room for discussion about negotiations. You will only find an interview like this on independent new agencies like Vice.

True, in the US it's a different matter. People there seem more engaged in why Biden is responsible for the gas prices. Or how Putin wouldn't have dared to attack with Trump around.Or how Hunter Biden would be relevant.
Totally nuts and 100% posturing. And yet there are plenty enough people buying it, just like there are Russians buying Putin's lies.

Neat how you turned that into something completely different. We were discussing news media and political leaders, but suddenly it's become the general population. But although lower income people are really feeling the pinch with soaring fuel costs and rising inflation, your generalizations are not even remotely true.

Hm? I didn't claim that all of the population in general is buying it. But enough people do, otherwise these politicians wouldn't have succeeded feeding them such stories for many years.

And most of all my reply was about how some use the war for their agenda, helping Ukraine is an afterthought.
My impression is that one party in the US is 99% focused on how this war can help them. Demanding a no-fly zone is just another part of that.

People there implies pretty much everyone unless you qualify it with a word like "some". But if you want to walk that back a bit, I'm fine with it. Problem is, our politicians talk a lot of shit on both sides - that doesn't mean that Americans necessarily buy it, or that we don't understand that stories are being recycled and repurposed in order to manipulate us. The corruption allegations surrounding Hunter Biden are, in fact true, and the right uses it to attack the left whenever they can. But you are correct, it's not relevant to the current situation. Rising energy costs and inflation in the US have been going on for many months before the outbreak of this war, and yes, it can be argued that that is the responsibility of the current administration. But I just demonstrated to you that the majority of Americans put that aside in order to support Ukraine and you don't even acknowledge it.

Please don't be deceived, both parties in the US are largely corrupt and working for themselves and their donors.

I don't have to "walk that back", as I wrote "and yet there are plenty enough people" in my initial comment which obviously enough isn't a generalization claiming that everyone would be falling for that.
And that indeed (too) many buy made up stories could be witnessed multiple times in recent years. Most famously displayed in this.
Your problem to either understand my words or to accept the existence of so many minds with a problematic relation to truth and facts isn't my fault.

It's odd that you bring up the no-fly zone that way in your argument that we should listen to Zelensky. Because he has been asking for the no-fly zone continuously.

In my country the no-fly zone comes up in the news either when Ukraine asks for it or as short filler news about some random US newspaper calling for it or conducting a poll on it. I'd hope it's just posturing, a show of support of sorts. The Biden admin and NATO as a whole seems adamant that it's not an option at all so I wouldn't worry about it too much for now.

The negotiations are featured heavily in the news over here but with a rather pessimist attitude, as in a deal seems to be very far away. To be honest at this point I find it more likely that the active phase of the war will end with an uneasy ceasefire than with a peace treaty. I'd be surprised if Ukraine was willing to officially sign away parts of their country.

I was aware he asked NATO for a no fly zone 2 weeks ago, but not that his requests have been continuous. In this more recent interview his tone seems different and more considered. I did just watch his address to US Congress that he made yesterday and while he asks again, he also proposes alternatives such as additional ground to air armaments and fighter aircraft. Seems reasonable, except that for reasons I don't comprehend the transfer of US built aircraft to Ukraine is considered highly problematic.

It seems there is a ray of hope for the negotiations quite recently though.
