Waiting on the hints before I make my decision. I was pretty excited they were accepting PayPal and subscribed immediately. Although I don't regret most of this purchase, I just don't feel like I got a bang for my buck
I really wish they were more creative/flexible with this program. Perhaps they could've created a large list of 12-15 games and let people pick their 6 games when the bundle goes live. Or at least add in bonuses (I'm sure they have a large quantity of leftover keys from previous bundles) where they create a small list of games that were in the bundles of the previous month and allow subscribers to pick 1 or 2 games.
Moreover, the value of November's bundle wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular. For $12, you could get 12 Weekly/Main bundles which is potentially 36 new games for your backlog.

Nope, just nope..... Legend of Grimrock 2 almost made me go for the first one. But there's no way in hell that towerfall ascension tricks me into buying it. I'll keep my 12 bucks for the steam winter sale.
btw if someone already has the november one hence towerfall ascension, do they unlock one of the game earlier or get an other game?

Current subscribers do NOT get a bonus for December. Bonus games are only intended to be for new subscribers.
The value of the bundle is always greater when you are new. That is how subscriptions work. They give you an incentive to sign up, then they tell you to go F yourself from then on.

Okay, I know a lot of people are responding to this by saying that people disgruntled with this wanted the moon for 12 bucks.
Not so. I would have been perfectly happy if this first month's bundle were something like this:
Legend of Grimrock 2 - Early Unlock
Besiege - I would keep this
Valkyrie Chronices - Same, as the "Old Favorites"
Replace Saint's Row 4 with Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophency or D4
Replace SanctuaryRPG with the Cavern Kings
Replace Towerfall Ascension with Nuclear Throne or UFHO2 (I say UFHO2 because it was on sale for the longest time pre-order in the HB Store and is also a good party game)
And include This War Of Mine
I think that instantly makes the bundle that much more attractive.

I think some people, myself included, were hoping for The Beginner's Guide to be included in November's Bundle, because of the lamp in the hint and the fact that it is an indie new release. But oh well, I guess we shouldn't raise our expectations too high for December's Bundle, in case we get disappointed again :/

A lot of bitching going on here. The November bundle was pretty good. Not Humble's fault if everyone owns much of the content already.
Also, while I can understand that getting the base game of SRIV doesn't make sense for a lot of people, specifically those who cannot even buy the DLC upgrade, how many bundles have we seen that include DLC? Most of the time, publishers are willing to give the base game and hope people will buy the DLC later. Not sure why everyone is so shocked by this outcome.

It wasn't bad in my opinion ... but i'm just being positive because they are all great games. Already had Valk and SR, but the other games look quite interesting and make great GA material.
And given how many days the hints were up and how, for the most part they were accurate, we kinda knew what we were going into. However, I know a lot of people are disappointed by the exclusion of DLC for SRIV and no Transistor D:

I can imagine Transistor is being held in reserve to strengthen a future month's bundle. Good point on the hints allowing people to know what they were getting themselves into. Disappointment I cam understand, but not outrage. Sad that so much of the gaming community is comprised of petulant brats.

I expected a heavy pounder from HB to present their new grab bag model. Surely the november bundle isn´t what I awaited, but all in all the bundle isn´t that worse to give up hope.
