i like how some stupid kids like LoL because """its easy""" wtf is wrong with you i find dota very easy why you think its hard kids ? just because it has alot of additional features like deny ? what do you expect from a moba game to just make few clicks around the map and win ?

Well, I am going to try my best to be objective with my opinion, having around 800 games in LoL and only 3 in DotA2, I don't promise anything, but here it goes:
As you may have figured out, I prefer LoL, I am not saying it's better, I am just saying I prefer it.
The first game of DotA I played I sucked HORRIBLY at it, I mean, I took 20 minutes just to figure out how the store worked, and I ended up 0/8/1... Because I accidentally hit an enemy champion before a guy killed it.
Now, you may think that I dislike DotA because I suck at it, but my first game of LoL I ended up 0/20/something. So, I sucked at LoL too, and honestly, I'm still not that good of a player, although I did managed 2 pentas with Akali. The thing is, LoL made me come back, even though I sucked, for some reason I still wanted to play, I wanted, and want to improve. And that did not happened with DotA, when I finished my three games I was like: "Kay, I am going to play Serious Sam." and uninstalled the thing.
I also thing the colors in LoL are more pleasant to the eye than DotA, sure, it is more realistic, but a tad to grey for my liking.
But the most important reason I think, is friends.
Most of my friends own DotA2, but except for 2 of them, all the others play LoL instead, so I just play with them, it's more fun than playing alone, for that I have the single player games.
All in all, I do admit the comunity in LoL sucks big ass, but if you have four friends to play with, you can turn around it.
This is why I prefer LoL, you can now start insulting me if you wish.

saying you disliked a game when you already played 3 games is about the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
"I have half life I was killed x times in the first y minutes. Half life sucks then."
If you didn't come back after 3 games is because you didn't bother to try and understand the game. If you don't do that you can't compare one game to another.

Maybe I don't, but like I said, I sucked at LoL at first too.
Having the ability to make me bother for the game is something that I find important. LoL did that, Dota didn't, maybe because I already knew how to play LoL at the time, I don't know.
Also, notice how I never claimed that the game "sucked", I just enjoy much more playing LoL than I do playing Dota, that's all.

I completely agree and it's the same feeling for me too except I actually tried dota 2 with 30 hours. I played 30 hours because I knew it would get better like league did, but it feels more like a chore than a game.
I think more people say they like dota 2, even though there are more players in league, because it's not as mainstream as LoL. People are comparing LoL to call of duty, calling them both bad, when more people actually play them. I know Dota 2 is still in beta but it is very easy to get in.

dota 2. The main reason is a bit better community. It's not too good, but LoL community is terrible. Also, Dota 2 has less cartoonish graphics, and much better designed heroes.

MOBA/ARTS communities are terrible in general.
If you're lucky, you'll find a guild/clan to play with, otherwise prepare for massive flame in nearly every match.
In the worst case, those people, that flame you, are even worse at that particular game.
Public matches or so called pugs (pick-up-games) are a verbal rape fest.
Been playing that genre for many years since Starcraft 1, throughout Warcraft III, HoN, LoL to even StarCraft II MOBA maps until i got sick off all the childish bullshit going on there.
I don't say it's a bad genre, but it seems to attract hordes of immature imbeciles.

Dota is in nearly everything better, except some bugs (yes, I know it's in beta, but some of them have been in the game for sooooo long) and those players not able to communicate in english, which are mostly russians.
Oh and those prefering LoL should play a little more Dota 2, I've been like that too when I got in the beta, I didn't like it first, but now after playing it a little longer, I really can't play LoL anymore, it's ugly, the game is too easy compared to Dota, which makes up most of the fun to me; players give up way too early and if one of your teammembers is missing, it's nearly impossible to win ^^

i am only play dota2 so far, but now downloading LoL, curious about it.
and for bad community, every game has scumbag who like trolling people, so its not a whole community
and wether LoL/Dota2 is easier/harder, i'll defintely harness my skill in both games so i can kick whoever call me noob's asses
