That's impossible. :3 Even three of them(basically) can't slow down my PC.

Well, your PC is probably fast enough, so you won't see any system slow-down from it, but that doesn't mean it runs slower than normally. My laptop is very slow, and I can see which anti-viruses slowing down my laptop easily. For example Avast slowed my laptop, Norton. But I don't even know MSE is in my system.

Ehm, disregard to what I said before. NOD32 do has Anti Spyware, Smart Security just adding internet protection like firewall and antispam. Although I am using MalwareBytes Anti Malware as companion for spyware/adware scanning which sometimes NOD32 can't detect it.

+1. I don't use my gaming PC to browse the web. I install games from trusted sites and mainly the Steam app and haven't had a virus. I used to use Norton on my old laptop but uninstalling it gave me serious problems and I ended up getting a virus because I couldn't enable windows defender. Got a new laptop and am using ZoneAlarm. Even then it is useless. Blocks everything and makes applications crash. AV's are a waste of money.

AVs are for detecting such stuff, if you can't detect yourself. If you want to find out, check everything that starts with your OS together, also you can check what is running. Might take a while, but.. Once you know all services that belong to OS or your software, you will easily notice any suspicious stuff. And the best cure to be healthy - always keep browser, OS up to date. And use a modern browser and a modern OS that have proven to be safe and have frequent updates.

I'm always updating all stuff from Windows Update and for everything important. Yesterday, I ran full scans of my 3 anti-viruses. And I ran Malwarebytes full scan in safe mode (I heard it's better), and nothing was found, so I hope I'm clean. :D You can't be never 100% sure. Alsi I'm taking care of my computer, I'm not installing every crap I see on the internet etc... I'm using IObit Advanced System Care 6, CCleaner, IObit Uninstaller, and IObit Smart Defrag 2. Love IObit products.

I wouldn't trust Microsoft for protection...
As for "SUPERAntiSpyware" there's a fake virus which goes by that name and only pretends to be a virus scanner, gives fake warnings and tries force you to buy it, to clean your fake problems away, else infects you!

I personally don't believe any anti-virus scanner is good which uses definations, most trojans can buffer themselves and remain invisible to it. Popular ones / Microsoft ones are even worst, because the creator knows most people have it and can test to avoid detection. You need a good firewall (not microsoft) and an application control (which tells and controls of app behaviour, including itself) - Kaspersky Internet Security is one that use to do this very well (it's more for advance users), however they dumbed down the latest version to be more user friendly a bit. I like full control (control of file modify / registry modify / firewall ports / etc) - not just user friendly "I guess this program is trusted so I'll allow it for you".

Malware authors are known to create fake antivirus software (scareware), which warn the user that they are infected (when really it's the software which is the virus) so they can extort money out of innocent victims. Super AntiSpyware 2011 (also 2008, 2009, 2010 - they where all dated at the end or had Expert, Master, Sheild, Soft, Suite at the end) was the name of one of the popular ones to be launched with a offical looking website (free download, popups fake warnings), credit card payment for full version (which just removed the warning messages), etc - uninstalling it is a mission for most. I'm unsure about "SUPERAntiSpyware" maybe they where just trying to take the same name as an offical one? Similar like with Antivir Solution Pro (not to be confused with Avira AntiVir). There's the latest one out for Windows 8 infecting already. Actual virusscanners will pick them up as TROJ_FAKEAV

since i use windows 8 none the built in one gives me no control and cant use MSE with it.
MSE was the first and only anti-virus i used except i sometimes use www.virustotal.com

First things first: you can get viruses and other mallware without having to download the file and run it. In fact, a simple javascript script should do the trick without you knowing anything. (if I were to code the virus I would let your system intact and use it to infect others :D)
Now, I've been using Symantec products for years now, right now I am using N360. I prefer it mostly because of it's firewall but it does the trick. I also have Spybot installed and occasionally I use ESET & BitDefender online scanners just to make sure.
For those who don't want to pay for AV I always recommend MSE.

I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials (real-time protection enabled), Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and SUPERAntiSpyware.
And no, I'm not using them at once. Only MSE is running in real-time.
Is it enough?
