Characters in vidya you hated playing as.

Play Bioshock 2, it's not much different from Bioshock 1 in terms of gameplay. Except for the giant drill, which won't make the big difference.

Despite everyone's hate, Bioshock 2 did offer a neat extra story as to what happened to Rapture after the first one.

I fucking loved Bioshock 2 to death, and consider it superior to the first one. Gameplaywise too, but especially storywise.

As much as I agree with him being selfish, Rufus was hilarious.

Vergil's Downfall was better than the main game. I've completed VD on Hell and Hell, and barely finished Dante's story on Nephilim.

I had no real problem with Niko (although to be fair, I dropped GTA4 at the hospital gunfight). My problems were with every character other than Niko. What a hateful supporting cast that game had.

I really didn't like him in the first game.

I felt like the bad guy for most of it what with the mowing down of
countless seemingly just police officers and him making light of it.

I'm not accusing you of this, but I think a lot of the people who hold this opinion are dudebros who are having some kind of kneejerk sexist or racist reaction to her. A lot of those dudebros only like Zoey because they think she's hot (see the many nude Zoey skins and Rule 34 at Paheal for confirmation of this). Since they don't think Rochelle is hot (due to racism or whatever, they have no use for her).

Rochelle doesn't play any differently or worse than any of the other characters - it's L4D, no one has a particular skill that they're better at than the other three characters. Even if she's not Ellis, it doesn't make her a bad character.

IMHO it depends on which route you were playing and the situations, I hated him in some but in others I felt like he was doing the exact thing that I would do in such situation...
