WARNING!

The Free DLC provided via mail for Magicka IS NOT Magicka: Tower of Niflheim DLC!

It's a custom Map.

So, don't create Giveaway for the key, because it's a fake giveaway.

If Glüüms Temple is too crowded from all of the wizards enjoying their free admission, you can thin out
the crowds in another PvP map that’s now available here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/73119

100% sure its not for the tower

Yeah, the Tower of Niflheim is a new DLC available for sale on the Steam store, whereas the free DLC from the newsletter is Glüüms Temple (which is not in the store).

What's really funny is the DLC isn't even available yet. lol

Why would they bother to send out Steam keys for a map that you can't even play yet?!? o_O

Wait, so if we activate it we won't be able to play it?

When I activated my key from the news letter it says "ValveTestApp73122 has not been officially released, and cannot be unlocked at this time. Please check the Steam news to find out the release time.
Steam will notify you when the game becomes unlocked."

(This is copied directly from the dialog box that pops up in the Steam client when you activate the key)

I did not have such a message when I activated it. It said Magicka: Glüüms Temple.

Try and activate the same key again in your Steam client. (Or look at it via right clicking on Magicka and then on "View Downloadable Content")

People are being retards as usual and lack basic reading and comprehension skill, why would anyone be surprised?

When in doubt, randomly choose from the giveaway list!

Well i just wanted to warn the owners of this giveaways with this text :

If you got it from newsletter its not for this dlc
"Your personal ticket to Glüüms Temple, redeemable on Steam, is:"
EDIT: This is just a warning for the owner - not a "fake" scream<

And then some guys tells me that one of the OPs got many giveaways - just one example:

This is just a warning for the owner - not a "fake" scream
That's the same as when someone asks for a game and claims they aren't begging, they were just asking!
It would have taken two seconds to open a link to his profile and see he's had 133 giveaways without any issues which would lead me to believe, it's probably what it says it is<

This makes me quite angry xD anyway - good to see some more guys noticed this ;)

It is done for you by the SG system. So when in doubt, sit back and relax

From the beggining, the free key from the newsletter was for the Glüüms Temple DLC. Nowhere in this page (where you signed in for the newsletter) says it was for the Tower of Niflheim DLC: http://info.paradoxplaza.com/magicka
