Be creative, figure out other means of getting the things you desire.

For example, collecting TF2 items and trading upwards you can eventually trade those for whatever games you desire.

Give Treasure Adventure Game a go next. It's less action and more exploration, but very well-done.

Yeah it's freeware. The enhanced(+) version is the one you see on Steam.

I've never been into pvp games, but SPG tanks are pretty fun. :P

If you have the specs to play it smoothly and can find a squad or outfit to play with, it is the best FPS on the market.

combat arms is probably the best f2p militairy shooter on steam but its not available in the uk store :(, I used to play it years ago though through the launcher even before I had steam.

When it comes to best free to play overall it would have to be team fortress 2,tribes ascend and planetside 2.

You could also try blacklight retribution but I got bored of that.

Arctic Combat is pretty good. I even played it while it was on it's beta stages. :)

District 187 is not really fun at all... Really like all other mmofps and the game in general sucks.. play arctic combat instead or planetside 2 or alliance of valiant arm or ghost recon online :P

It is not Steam redeemable. You buy it like a normal MMO, but then there are no monthly fees. I have 167 hours played in GW2 <3

no, it really isn't.. at least not for me, and if you're from UK it shouldn't be laggy for you either... unless you can't run it
