It's hard. Really hard. With all the rule-breakers on the forum, I have a hard time stopping myself from blacklisting. Just minutes ago, a user created a begging thread, and said user had also won two games without activating them...
But the fact is that they are probably inactive on the forum. Plus, they never created a giveaway and I mostly create giveaways with at least level 1 restriction. So yeah, seems pointless to blacklist them. Probably gonna get suspended and won't come back here anyways. :P

Well, fuck it, I've cleared most of my blacklist now. Went from 76 down to 5.
Those 5 will remain forever there, however, as they're the lowest forms of life on all of SG in my opinion.

I mean someone with 2k games + on steam purely on the trading cards alone can afford to give 100 copies of bad rats atleast :)
For some ppl its stupid to blacklist someone for poor ratio , and i agree some ppl cannot afford to make giveaways .
But thats clearly not the case here.
I dont use scripts and that kinda nonsense , dont wana risk losing Another steam account . So his contributin has nothing to do with me .
I know making giveaways is not mandatory , but still every time i see profile like that i die a little inside ...

like i said, you're obviously welcome to do what you want with your own blacklist. i just wanted to point out in his own way he is contributing.

Like your argument makes no sense whatsoever , the guy is just leeching as much games as he can get his hands on , w/o doing anything in return ... mostlikely using one of his fancy scripts or w/e to enter so he may not even visit the site :)
But yeah he made a script so its perfectly fine no matter what he do ... 10/10 Logic ...

i wasn't trying to get you to remove it or anything, it's okay with me and i understand why you did. i just wanted to make sure the facts were present before another dozen people blacklist him without at least knowing that in a round about way he does contribute to this site, just not the way you like.

I cleared my blacklist.
That's pretty much it. I had too many people on there from long ago. Users from back in SGv1. Permanently suspended users. Inactive users. And I also lost all of my labels tracking who did what when SG updated to https, and I'm not skilled enough at that hacker stuff to recover them. So what did I do? I said fuck this. I'm starting over, and clearing my blacklist ENTIRELY (yes, including known rule-breakers, and even the rudest and most inappropriate users I've ever met on the Steamgifts forum).
Everybody deserves another chance anyway. But yeah, that doesn't mean I won't be using blacklists anymore. I'll just go more easy on it and I even setup a nice Google spreadsheet to keep up with who I blacklist and why. I'll only blacklist very unpleasant and disrespectful people, or rule-breakers who are assholes about it or just don't care to make things right.
Soooo, that's it. Here's a small giveaway for all to enter freely.
