Well, that's actually what brought the whole blacklist idea to Steamgifts (not my idea, it was somewhat common with forum users before I registered). Basically, at first we did that, then support (probably cg himself) decided that this wouldn't be allowed anymore, probably because it caused too much unnecessary work for the support team.
There were a few complains about the lack of this feature I'd guess, which probably made cg "officially" implement the blacklist feature for SGv2. ^^

I made a cleaning too. I only left 20 people who has 3+ unactivated with recent dates or unactivated+multiple wins.

It took a lot of strength to clear my blacklist but it's done. And I couldn't of done it without jbond providing me with limitless amounts of courage.

That's pretty much it. I had too many people on there from long ago. Users from back in SGv1. Permanently suspended users. Inactive users. And I also lost all of my labels tracking who did what when SG updated to https, and I'm not skilled enough at that hacker stuff to recover them. So what did I do? I said fuck this. I'm starting over, and clearing my blacklist ENTIRELY (yes, including known rule-breakers, and even the rudest and most inappropriate users I've ever met on the Steamgifts forum).
Everybody deserves another chance anyway. But yeah, that doesn't mean I won't be using blacklists anymore. I'll just go more easy on it and I even setup a nice Google spreadsheet to keep up with who I blacklist and why. I'll only blacklist very unpleasant and disrespectful people, or rule-breakers who are assholes about it or just don't care to make things right.
