Got the driving license today! Let's celebrate a little bit ◕ ‿ ◕ [puzzle - answers posted]

Today, I’ve got the driving license! Yay! And it was about time, I’m 23 years old D: and I actually do love cars.

So let’s celebrate it a bit. I’ve created two fabulous giveaways in one car-related puzzle. The first giveaway, it’s the Shift 2 Unleashed. I’ve never played it, but I heard it’s not that shitty like the other new-age NFS titles. So it’s pretty promising :3. I always wanted to try it, but I don’t have the time to play it anyway, so let’s give it away. I’m sure it’ll be great fun for arcade players as well as for more advanced players of racing games. The second giveaway, it’s the Test Drive Unlimited 2. It’s a hilarious game! LOVE IT! I’ve spent over 400 hrs in this game, lol. It’s not about the racing itself like the Shift, but more about driving around, collecting cars, exploring (the two islands are huge and you can go anywhere you want!) and socializing with other players.

All the answers are car names except for the last two (the youtube questions). You don't have to worry if you write the car name exactly right (spaces, dashes, etc). I put there many variants for the answers. If something seems too hard, tell me here. I'm expecting only the last question to be really hard. The hints might appear here on forum later. No public teamwork, please! Do not post answers nor close hints in here or you’ll be disqualified!

Answers

Q1: Mazda MX-5 (also known as Miata or Eunos Roadster) (pic)

Quite easy question, you all probably knew it. And if not, it was only matter of knowing what's a typical British sportscar. Then it was easy, there are not many roadsters from Japan. And the mx-5 is even the most famous one.

Q2: Fiat Multipla (pic, moar and moar fabulousness)

Probably the ugliest car ever made. If you have ever made fun of this car, you knew the answer right away :D

Q3: Mazda RX-8 (pic)

First of all, you had to know the kind of engine that can make this ridiculous number of horsepower – the Wankel engine. There have been not too many cars built with this engine, so you could start just guessing or find the certain model according to the capacity and performance.

Q4: Jaguar X-Type (XJ vs. X-Type)

I thought everyone will get this pretty quickly just by guessing all the recent Jaguars. The hint brought the Ford Mondeo in, because the Jaguar X-Type is based on the Mondeo. If you google the combination of Ford Mondeo and XJ, or Ford Mondeo and Jaguar, the Wiki's page with X-Type shows up right on the first page. And why I call the X-type a fatter XJ? Just look at them! It's basically more curved and puffy XJ from that generation (the X350 and X358). But I still like it :3, it’s still fabulous and not that weird like the S-Type (but dat ass! mmm).

Q5: Colin Steele McRae (info)

You had many ways how to find out who it was. You could have just googled the gold Impreza from X-GAMES, or looked for the results from X-GAMES that’d fit. But you could have seen his name even in the clip at 1:21.

Q6: Bob Shubin Jr. (played by Derek D from Fast Lane Daily)

If you didn't know Derek D, you were pretty much screwed without the hint. Although Shidoin found him even without the hint. After posting the hint video, it got much easier. You could have started looking for the original video on YouTube, because you knew he was at the New York Intercontinental Auto Solution (=International Auto Show). Or you could have just looked for car news shows on YouTube until you found Derek D or the logo that would fit in the clips (that’s why the logo wasn’t fully covered). After knowing the Fast Lane Daily show or Derek D, it must have been pretty easy to find the original video (or similar) that’d give you the right answer. Btw, you could have heard his name in the hint at 0:53, anyone has noticed it? :P
