A very small support team has pretty close to 3000 open tickets right now. All you can do is to be patient.

I'd love to handle support tickets for those unsuspend and user reports. I bet 90% of them just need to be closed without any further action.

Depends on the tickets. Some are easy to resolve, others will never be resolved. If you're happy to divulge your problem, one of us normies may be able to give you an indication of whether your issue will/can be resolved.
