I profusely agree. That said, I see a lot of positive responses. I might be a pessimist but I have the feeling that if the author of this thread was someone with no contributions, there would be a lot more of negative posts, some of them with the literacy level of "ololol u mad leecher?" Maybe because I've seen it happen before.

I'm a really minor contributor myself and I don't hate either side. This site is SteamGifts and a gift is something free. Every member of it should have a chance to win games. Not everybody has a situation that allows them to buy games. Neither games for themselves, nor gifts to share here. I see this website as a chance for those people to actually get something they want that they couldn't have otherwise. They should never be looked down upon for that...

And contributors... Well... you have to respect the people who give you the opportunity to win the games. How can you be on this site and look down upon them if they're the people that make this site work? They don't get anything for giving you a game. Except of course a chance to enter more contributor giveaways. But I don't think that's the real reason they do it. They really invest much more in contributing than they can possibly gain from being able to access contributor giveaways.

Yeah the other day a member with a contributor value over 1k told me to gtfo and don't care about him making bundle key giveaways. That guy is now banned :D

I just hate it when I see people being outright told to shut up because they're not contributors. I don't remember this site having a policy of your opinion and thoughts not being welcome unless you pay money first, and if that was the policy I wouldn't have come here at all.

I know one who already contributed over 500$, has huge amount of comments by merely pasting same thanks in every possible giveaway. But... said user never comments on forum, never contribute to chat in form of talking and How do you know them then? lol

Well I agree that many contributors are or can be dicks as you say but...(Thats how far my thought process got until I went blank and forgot what I wanted to say -_-) So in other words Ponies!

Never expect everyone to like you, just the same as one is not going to like every single person they meet. Its just human nature that some people want to have a status that makes them feel better than others. So its normal to have a few dicks swinging around pissing off others.

I've been lucky enough to run into individuals who are fun to chat with, and a few that can be a bit disrespectful but its normal.
Its just balance.
