Winner turned down gift

Hi, a conundrum!

The winner of my Skyrim giveaway has contacted me to inform me that his friend gave him a copy of the game yesterday and he's no longer in need of the game and would feel bad taking it.

I'm not fussed either way, but what's the protocol? What do I do?

New winner has been selected through a re-roll and the gift sent, not anyone from this topic though heh. Thanks all for your help :)
