With family sharing you have to have someone log in on your computer with their account right? That means if you are sharing with someone who is not going to be in the same room as the computer you are doing this on will have to give the login and password.

This is the STUPIDEST idea to do with someone who is not in your house and who you do not know.

Steam does not allow you to do this, and there for would not be allowed in steamtrades. Its also a very good way to get your steam account highjacked by someone because they will have your account name and password.

Instead of buying the game again when you get caught, you just make a throwaway, pay a couple refs, and then you can cheat with the family-shared game until the owner gets banned.

Well, selling "services" is not forbidden. I for example thought about selling my service as a webdev to clans or whatsoever to get small jobs.

But it's a high risk for you to loose your account by selling family sharing spots. And it's just wrong.

You'll get VAC banned so quick if you have any games with VAC.. also, dumb idea, don't do it.

for your question services might be allowed since it doesn't necesarrily have to be a bad trade, but with family sharing that goes against the rules if your going to sell, family sharing was for family who you would never charge to play your games, if you plan to make a profit I actually hope to see you banned after a while because that does not seem right. After the initial setup on their pc you plan to make money by doing nothing just because they are playing your games, sounds a lot like a get rich quick scheme and those don't turn out very well for people who spontaneously do it.
