Legjobb elmenyem? Half-life 2 megerkezik a vonat, es varjuk hogy tortenjen valami, azt hittuk lefagyott, aztan megmozgattam az egeret es akkor jottunk ra, hogy amit lattunk az nem atvezeto animacio volt...
Gyorsan ujra is kezdtuk es vegig szaladgaltam es nezelodtem mig ment a vonat. :)
Meg most legutobb a half life alyx.
Best experience? Half-life 2 the train is arrived, we just wait to something will happens, but nothing. We tought the games is freezed, then I moved the mouse and realized what was we watched was not an cust-scene, but the game itself!
Quickly restarted the game to run adn look around in the train while it was moving.
Latest was the half life alyx.

14,848 hidden on SG. I'm pretty picky too.
I've entered fewer than 4,000 giveaways in 8 years. Under 4,000 comments too, so maybe I'm not active enough! There have been a few periods when I was away for the site for a while, but the low entries are mainly because I'm trying to work on my backlog.
Gaming memories - my memory isn't great and I'm sure there have been a lot. It was always nice saving for Amiga games as a kid, getting the box and the excitement on the way home, looking through the instruction book on the bus home. There are so many games available for cheap now and as a working adult there's no need to save when I want one. Maybe those times are my best gaming memories.

π - oh the excitement of getting a console as a kid is amazing. I remember getting my PS1... my father was telling me for months, that we cannot afford it. Then Christmas was getting close, and as most kids, I was searching for gifts :D when I found the PS1, however I thought its not for me, but for my cousin :D so I was a bit sad... and then I found it under the tree :D oh that joy... also remember how much we laughed years later when I told them that I thought they bought a PS1 for my cousin and not for me :D

I got a PS1 for Christmas one year too. By that age, I knew where my mum hid Christmas presents so I could plat it a few times before Christmas day when she was out :D

I don't have too many hidden games. I mostly visit the wishlist tab and rarely the recommended tab. The hidden games (147) were added when I was relatively new here.
First game experience I had as far as I remember was playing Dangerous Dave. I saw game on one of my relatives PC, copied it on floppy disk and brought it home.
I also remember playing GTAIII literally in 2-3 fps, 5 years later I finally finished the game in new PC.

Not really sure I'm passing the rules, but just want to share my experience anyway
I already watching movies since elementary school (early 2000's), local channel giving 3 movies/week (start at 11pm). western at Tuesday (random, from comedy to action to drama), Horror at Wednesday (Scream are my fave back in the day). Asian at Thursday (Police Story, enter the dragon, etc), dosnt ask about movie rating, cause no one cares back in the day.
Skip to high school, The first time I can get to foreign channel (available in my boarding house), I like NGC, and only watch it a few hour/ week. Busy with all activities. Until one day I coincidentally see few minutes of series (this was the first time i know foreign western series) called How I met Your Mother on Starworld (now Foxlife) channel. This may sound dumb, but Im amazed western also have tv series, and it is really good, after that I watch Community, New Girl, and best series imo Friends (I doubt any movie character can replace Chandler from my favorite)
Extra : at first Im confused with Season sytem (instead eps25 its called Season2 eps1), then i realized US series only released few episode every year that got repeated few times for a week, so it is make sense (for comparison, in my country a title can release around 200-300 eps/year so everyday new episode, never repeated)

You did not passed all the rules, but I added you anyway ;) π
Friends? I dunno, unpopular opinion here, but I never understood the hype :/ I saw all 10 seasons, but most of the cast were "unsymphatetic" for me :D I liked Scrubs and HIMYM more :D
Comment has been collapsed.
HIMYM come close as 2nd for me, but I think i can understand why Friends are hype (at least from my opinion). I also have many friends who watch comedy series, almost all of they like Friends so much, but only few like HIMYM. After a while i think understand why. US tv series of course made for US viewer taste. The problem is the joke/conversation reference and wordplay are not universal, non western and non english speaker dont understand why it is funny (for example in HIMYM, Robin usually does or say Canadian stereotype). While Friends usually use simple conversation without any prior knowledge needed, furthermore their expression and gesture are hyperbole so its easier to get it. I've read many US saying Friends are copycat or overhype, but never met any Asian saying that. Thanks for The π

I currently have 16,096 games hidden and it feels good :)
I don't have one specific gaming experience that stands out, but my best memories are from growing up with all the classic Nintendo consoles. I still have my NES, SNES, and N64 and love to pull them out once in a while to play. The games are still great today. My favorites are probably Zelda: A Link To The Past and the Donkey Kong Country trilogy on the SNES.

I have never played that game. The first thing that came to my mind when I started watching the gameplay is that it looks like he isn't wearing any pants. There is some dialogue back and forth in a language I can't read, so I am imagining he is being asked why he has no pants and he is explaining some crazy story about what happened. Now the rest of the game is him battling enemies half naked trying to get his pants back :)
Comment has been collapsed.
:D yeah i had it in this language back in the 90s... :D years later I found it again and played with an emulator with english... have to admit the story is nothing extra... :D but the game itself was amazing. and interesting, i never thought that he has no pants :D and now i cannot unsee it... Thx! :D

My best gaming experience... Now I would say it was when I finished Bioshock with the happy ending. It's a masterpiece...

It's the story and philosophy which is amazing, I would say it's a game which deserves to be played at least once in our lives.
Anyway, I appreciate for your blueheart and give back the same one for you!

If you mean what decision to make through between 2 different endings, I personally chose the good path. When I found out the ending it was.... breathtaking. (Kind of felt the similar feeling a little before the ending.)
For playing - try to use various weapons, I kind of used only about 2 weapons and 1 plasmid (electro bolt) but using more plasmids can help your play more depending on the type of the enemy. (Ex. Telekinesis against rocket-firing enemy)

Wouldn't mind being whitelisted if I pass your screening ;)
I'd have to say my most impactful experience was playing Warlord 3 on my first PC... That game rocked (at least at that time) - different kingdoms, different units, different castle looks... Amazing!

Best movie experiences have to do with seeing reddit threads about "Which movie should I watch without knowing anything about it?" Ones I've found that I absolutely loved were "Moon", "Predestination", "Triangle" (which I think was based on the Spanish language film "Timecrimes", also good), and maybe a couple others.
If you happen to watch any, let me know what you think.
Thanks for the chance!

I watched the trailer for Predestination after watching the movie. I don't think it would've had the same "Ho. Ly. Crap." factor for me if I'd seen it prior.

Finishing Life is Strange is my best experience in any game. I still think about the game sometimes.

I chose sacrifice. It felt more right when playing and it was probably the best most emotional first expression ending you could have received.
I did look at youtube to see the other ending, and it was not the same at all. I think it would have ruined it if I did the other way around.

For me the Final Fantasy series has always been one of my favorite ones, and I fondly remember some emotional moments like Aerith's death in FFVII, or Zack's in Crisis Core, plus music is terrificly good, along the gameplay. And now I'm waiting for FFVII Remake to stop being an exclusive and hopefully come to PC because it looks just amazing.

Yes, those are the latest ones in the series. VII Remake came out recently (a couple weeks ago) and is exclusive for PS4 for a year, but XV is on steam and seems to be often on sale for half the price. To begin with the series, I'd recommend X because it's turn based and it was the first one to be voice acted, also being on PS2 it allowed for better graphics which got enhanced even further in the HD version. It comes with X-2 as well, so two games for the price of one. VII and VIII are also in steam if you're ever interested in them. I would say it's better to play VII before the remake, because it's interesting to see how it changes and... well, I wouldn't want to spoil you the story :)

I've hidden 4787 games here and 4765 ignored on Steam, because I only enter giveaways that I want to play!
My best experience was in Outlast 2, when the achievement "Messiah" appeared after endless hours of painful suffering:
Finish the game in Insane Mode without reloading the camera battery

My most intense gaming-expirience was my very first one: playing Super Mario Bros on the NES! By now I have beaten this game countless times on various platforms, but I will always remember how hard I found it back then. :)
On PC I can say the same thing about The Settlers II, which I played for dozends of hours on my first Computer (IBM Aptiva, can't remember the specs but it sure was something pathetic XD ). I would still call it the best game of its genre, along with its "Next Generation"-Sequel.
BTW: I only have 326 hidden games on SG.

It's hard to name a specific moment in gaming for me, there have been so many. So many worlds I've explored, so many quest fulfilled, so many stories told. Maybe it's that one moment where a game actually managed to made me cry. It was Milkmaid of the Milkyway.
Also, almost 16000 games hidden here. There's just so much trash on Steam, or well, genres and games I'm absolutely not interested in...

Hidden games on sg... currently 6152. It would be more, if I were actively hiding games and hide all the "ignored" games from steam. But I'm too lazy for that and only hide games when I stumble across them here.
Not the best moment in gaming, but a significant one for me: Being able to have a same sex partner and adopting a baby in The Sims 1, and having marriage equality starting with The Sims 2. I actually bought the second Sims game just to support them for this.

oh with Spyro we have some love/hate relationship :D I loved that game as child on PS1... but also hated it. I have a cousin, who really enjoyed as I played Spyro, so when we went for a holiday I had to play Spyro over and over... :D
Btw from those movies/tv shows I saw 3 :D 1-2-4
never heard about The Villainess, but if the whole movie is FPS, I have to pass... :D I watched Hardcore Henry, and while I really enjoyed those youtube videos, which gave the inspiration for HH, it did not worked for me in long run... :/
Also this is the first time that I heard about Generation Kill, which is strange, cause I have HBOGO :D so I put it on my list, and will definitely watch it :)

Sure, I like being on white lists, I'll give it a try. :)
I'm not sure what my best gaming moment is - there have been so many great moments - but all the best moments have been playing games with someone else.
For example, I played Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light with my SO and it was one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had. The game let us play to our strengths - I was better at shooting the enemies, but the puzzles required both puzzle solving and cooperation and we relied on each other to figure them out. When we discovered that the dodge roll was faster than running, both our minds were blown - suddenly the stage where we couldn't make it to the exit in time was no problem at all.
A while later I was visiting a friend and we decided to play Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light - and it was funny how different the game felt. We had both beaten the game before, we were experienced, and thus we dove in both dodge rolling everything and blasting every monster in sight.

Room for one more? π
Best experience in gaming is a tricky one, I've been playing games for a long time... π
...but the one that stands out is when I'd just got my N64 and I played Super Mario 64 for the first time, it was so revolutionary! π²π
17,215 hidden here btw π

No need to whitelist me, because we have already whitelisted each other!
I don't think I've had a single best experience, but I'm looking back at my childhood playing Mario Kart with friends. Actually, my best experiences are probably playing with friends in general.

Hello everybody, I'm a Hungarian guy from Slovakia, currently living in the Czech republic, 28 years old (soon 29 π), currently working as a Wintel Admin, who spends most of his time with LEGO, videogames and TVShows/movies. Some says I am living imdb, but I wouldnβt say thatβ¦ Although my current TOTAL WATCH-TIME is 10 MONTHS/16 DAYS/14 HOURS/27 MIN β at least according to TVTime (btw feel free to add me there my username is grieves13)
But thatβs enough about meβ¦ I am looking forward to expand my π club π
I'm not that strict, but have some rulesβ¦
Your CV must be 1.1 or higher
I would also appreciate if you would add me to your WL as well, but not a NEED. Also and interesting fact, that I am not entering every GA, only what really interests me⦠At the moment I have 13,761 games hidden here⦠:D and I see only 61 open GAs.
I've already added a few persons there, some guys that were nice with me in some form.
If you break rules you can be out, forever
If I donβt accept you, donβt start to complain or to argue, cause you can end up on the other listβ¦ π
TLDR: If you just jump here, you're out too
Also I am running 2 π GAs - I will probably update this list in the Future.
