Orange box and TF question

The orange box is a bundle that redeems everything all at once. People have had tf2 premium in their inventory for months.

Orange Box gives a tf2 guest pass. Yes I am aware of the irony.

Activating retail copies is one of the ways to get TF2 premium and I'd say the Orange Box should be treated as such. Source

When you activate the Orange Box you only get Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode 1 as giftable games and only if you already own those. You won't get giftable copies of any of the other games. Source
