Charging 'full price' is illegal, as the invoice states a lower price, they are only allowed to charge the lower price. Anything else is cause for an immediate Charge-Back, by Visa/MasterCard.

+1 Not only that, but in some countries as long as it's considered a reasonable price all sales are final meaning that the retailer cannot simply cancel the order after receiving your money, A judge could rule that the price was so low for a certain product that the consumer should have known it was an error, but the retailer still would have to go to court to have a chance at cancelling orders.

Heh, not denying that, the price was rediculously cheap, just saying that it can be quite a task for a retailer to even cancel orders, I dunno about Russia (i'm assuming they've got purchases from outside RU in rubles covered in their TOS) but like I said in some countries despite it being such an obvious price glitch the retailer would still have to go to court to lawfully cancel the sales.

Last price glitch that happened in november for AC4 and WatchDogs went thru and didn't get refunded. If the payment method is valid and matches the info you entered for name and address it should go thru without any bumps.

Because the glitch isn't for a Ubisoft game. They have to pay to Kalypso probably for each license more than 70% of what they get, and using the real price as reference, not the gliched one.

I don't remember where I exactly read it (probably reddit) but something similar happened with a fellow buyer and he actually purchased ac 4 and watch dogs for 3$ as he said that there was a price glitch in November and he received a email stating that his order has been cancelled but then also he received the ac4 key. I think if you don't receive the key of tropico 5 by 24th may then write to support and show them your invoice or order receipt but don't state that it got cancelled and hope that they give you the key.

You won't get tropico 5 before 23rd may and if till then our order doesn't get cancelled then I am very positive that we will get the key. I have been to steam community and reddit and almost of the people who ordered it happens to have the same issue and when contacted with the support they say they are out of keys.

I know, I'm just patiently waiting and hoping the games will show up in my library at some point. I knew about tropico 5 as it's not out yet and uplay doesn't do pre-order. It's just weird that the other two games are on their own platform and they ran out of keys. Shouldn't be too hard to generate and distribute via your own system. Guess the keys are retrieved from a separate system and is not prepared for mass sales ;)

Check out if order number match with the previous emails, I made several attemps to get it (all failed) until a friend helped me and I got the confirmation, but I just received this cancelation email with a different order number, I still have some hope to get the games :/

Ok just received a mail from the Ubisoft support regarding not getting the game and it is as follows

I haven't received cancellation email from ubisoft store yet. But I haven't got either Anno or Port Royal. But there is a chance that you can get Tropico 5. Just wait until the release day. Uplay pre order doesn't include cd key email before release and it doesn't show in your account until release either.

My feedback: Me and friend bought it at the same time for 6 roubles. I got both games, he didn't get port royale 3. A day ago he received same letter as topic starter did, I didn't get anything, both games (Anno, PR3) as still in my ubisoft account. We both used same payment method - Webmoney.

Hey guys, I hope the thread isn't against the rules or something. I managed to get Tropico 5 pre-order with the price glitch on Uplay, but I received an e-mail now saying the order was cancelled because the payment didn't went through. While the payment did went through and I received Anno 1404 already (no Port Royale 3 though), the game is still in my acc, and the payment for the order wasn't refunded or anything. So I am guessing they are either refunding everyone, or something weird happened with my order in particular - so did any of you receive such an e-mail recently? Mine came about 20 minutes ago. Here it is:
