WELCOME TO YOUR ENERGETIC DRAMA-FREE SALBT!!!! (I've seen worse acronyms)

Well, this train had a different purpose originally, but drama ensued, and I dislike drama, because it creates stress.

Unlike movies, drama is bad in a lot of ways. Actually, I did a little research about stress and found a nice article about the side effects stress may have in the human body.

The truth is that there is no actual stress or anxiety in the world; it's your thoughts that create these false beliefs. You can't package stress, touch it, or see it. There are only people engaged in stressful thinking.

GIVEAWAYS LINKS AND WHITELIST RULES BELOW
Because I know some of you don't care about the text above.... which is fine, worrying about it would create stress anyways

SALBT!
All cd-keys in the SALBT are actually row, if that matters.. sorry about the region restriction ;_;

3 COPIES OF SHADOW OF MORDOR GAME OF THE YEAR EDITION
Also drama-free

HOW CAN I BE WHITELISTED?
Just tell me something sciencey. It must be something I don't know to qualify, so avoid commonly known facts. It can be related to any science field, and the information must be written in your comment, just linking something won't work.

I don't care if you're level 0 with 1040 wins, so don't worry about your ratio.

Giveaways will be running until July 10th. Good luck everyone!

The term robot didn't come from actual science. But from science fiction.
Also not from Isaac Asimov.
There was a (chech, I think) theater play called 'R.U.R. - Rossum's Universal Robots' (in English), named after the factory where robots (a variation of the word slave in the writer's language) are created.
And they're not mechanical. They are actually artificial human-like forms (a journalist, in the beguinning of the play mistakes them for actual human slaves), like in Blade Runner.
Later on the word did catch in science.
P.S. Project Gutenberg has R.U.R. in case someone is interested.

Well this week i saw a notice about an AI for combat that defeated a human pilot. It learns all the behavior of the target and learns with it, and what is scary and awesome at the same time, if one learn something new it automatically sends this "update" for the fleet. Here is the paper about this project.

When i saw this project i couldn't no stop thinking about SKYNET. Hope you find this interesting, and thanks for the train. o/

The "Knapsack Problem" is a famous operations research problem with only a single constraint. An example of this would be a guy who wants to fill out his knapsack with the most valuable items while respecting the weight limit. It could go like this:
Maximize Z= Sum(XiVi)
Subject to:
Sum(Xi
Wi)<=Weight limit

Where:
Xi: 1 if item (i) is chosen, 0 otherwise
Vi: Value of item (i)
Wi: Weight of item (i)
and i:{1...n} where (n) is the number of items to choose from.

To solve the "Knapsack Problem" and find the optimal solution, a method called "Dynamic Programming" is used, we will leave that to another discussion.
Can I get white listed now?

Want something sciencey? I'm going to share this book.
That's one of the most "understandeable" sciencey book I've ever read in my life. Totally recommended.
Direct link, don't you worry, I downloaded it myself to check if it is the right one.

So, is there a reason I haven't been whitelisted? I posted my fact here and I haven't been whitelisted or given a response. Was I missed?

you can fit all the planets lined up in the space between the earth and the moon.

and speaking of distances: if the proton in an hydrogen atom was the size of the sun, the distance to its electron would be over 9 times the distance between the sun and neptune. we're mostly empty.

Bismuth is a naturally occurring metal that has an increased growth rate on the outer edges than the inner ones, which results in its staircase like structure. When introduced to air, it forms an iridescent oxide layer that can reflect different wavelengths of light (depending on the thickness of that oxide layer), giving it a rainbow color around itself. (Also might have something to do with the subsalicylate in Peptobismol but don't quote me on that)

You should totally do an internet search on it. It is so pretty. One of my favorite minerals next to the terribly named Laboradorite

James Clerk Maxwell is a hugely influential figure in the fields of electricity, thermodynamics, photography, nuclear energy, and others. His discovery of the electromagnetic spectrum led to the development of television, radio, microwaves, as well as aiding in the development of radio and infrared telescopes.

Diluted seawater contains almost the same concentration of minerals and trace elements as blood plasma, and its sodium content matches that of blood. It has been used successfully in animal tests as a blood transfusion substitute, but human trials are long overdue.

René Quinton and his medical team drained a dog of all of its blood and replaced it with isotonic (diluted) seawater. The dog should have died immediately, one would think, but the dog lived. On day two after the transfusion, 50 per cent of the blood components had reappeared. By day four, almost 100 per cent of the missing blood components were restored in what appeared to be proof of biological transmutation (a change from one element to another). Not only did the blood completely regenerate, but soon after the procedure the dog bounced around like a puppy with greater vitality than before, and it lived for many years afterwards.
