I would recommend R.A.T.:

Even R.A.T. 3 is really nice. Also Razer mice are ok, but bit overpriced. Depends on budget. If you want something cheaper, Bloody line mice from A4Tech should be ok (but I never held one, so...)

I had R.A.T. 7. Looks great, but works like crap and I SERIOUSLY woudn't recommend R.A.T. 7 because of the laggy sensor! Have a look at Thermaltake Theron. I've got it at the moment. It has got absolutely no cons.

In general you don't want to try anything "new". You want something that's solid and proven.
The rest is just how many programmable buttons you need.

I don't second dat.. the mx518 is a wonderful mouse but it does break once every 2 years if you use it regularly. The reason is the wire inside the mouse is bended quite heavily at a 90 degrees angle, so sooner or later it malfunctions. Still I'd say it's worth it.

Yeah, my MX 518 has been in use for years now, literally thousands of hours of gameplay, well over 22,000,000 button clicks, and it's still going strong (though, with my luck, I've just put a jinx on it).
Edit: Although, I do need to replace the feet...

Make sure your mice are provided with plenty of cheese. Keep cats away from the mice.
And the Logitech G400s is an inexpensive mouse that works pretty well.
Note that while other peripherals having "gaming" in the title means to stay away from them because they're overpriced, for mice you might want to look at something that's for gaming. One type of 'feature' you can find in a non-gaming mouse is the mouse will automatically help you draw straight lines at 90 and 45 degree angles. Not the sort of thing you want when aiming in an FPS.

G500 and G500s is a nice update to the MX518. I don't think you can actually buy the MX518 anymore. I think its just the G500s now.
I've used the MX518 and G500 and physically they are near identical. I like the G500 cause it has so many buttons (10 of them) and its got weights to adjust it. I personally like a heavy mouse so I have the full weight in which makes a big difference, though because I was not used to it, I had to build up to the full weight or else my hand would get sore/tired.
The only one I might consider upgrading to over the G500s is the G700s but only because it can be used both wireless and wired. I personally haven't had much need for a wireless mouse though.

I have the GX-Gaming Gila and I absolutely love it! I actually ended up liking GX-Gaming so much, that I bought a headset, the GX-Gaming Cavimanus from them as well. The mouse looks epic, and all the LEDs are fully customizable on an RGB scale. It is very comfortable for me and the fact that you can have 72 macros on it is amazing. I use the macros a lot. It has 6 DPI settings, which you can choose any DPI from 200 to 8200. The scroll wheel is the best of any mouse I've ever seen. Clicking the scroll wheel is just satisfying, and scrolling is very easy as it clicks into place. The mouse's clicking mechanics are awesome and fast, allowing for quick spamming. It has a gold-plated USB connector so its response time is insanely quick (1 MS), and the drivers are very easy to use, with plenty of features. The customer support and warranty on the mouse is great. GX-Gaming is very quick to respond and is willing to help you through any problems you might have. I very highly recommend this mouse and company.

It is not important which one as long as it sounds cool, has at least one X in the name somewhere and people talk about it like you absolutely need or it you will not kill anyone. It helps if it is supposed to be used by PROgamers too!
Or you can just buy something at about 15-30€ that fits your hand and will not break in two days. Works like a charm too! Pick one of those two options and you will be alright.

Logitech G500s is what I have and I love it. It has left/right click, mouse wheel that has endless scrolling or normal scrolling, as well as mouse 3. It has buttons for sensitivity (3 levels on the mouse itself and you can use the logitech gaming software to change it). It has front/back page buttons and a customizable button to do w/e you want. It has a nice grip and the cord is braided so it is less likely to get ruined!

How about this one http://www.amazon.com/Elephant-Leviathan-Laser-Gaming-Mouse/product-reviews/B008RE3MQA
Been using it for 2 yr and its good. By far, its the cheapest gaming mouse in my country and its a good deal for this price

I've been using a Roccat Lua for quite some time now, really satisfied with it. The mouse isn't that expensive (around 30 euros where I bought it), it has a nice look and a good grip. You can also change the dpi settings with just one click.
It doesn't have lots of fancy buttons, but that's something I don't need, personally.

you should give these a try. --> TESORO GAMING MICE.
i had them for some review sessions and i have to say, they are awesome, especially Gandiva (but i don't know if it's out on the market now)

have you a video , or could you say more about the mice

Kind of difficult to share my experience. Sadly i had them for review only for the resale market here in Romania. Gonna start the sales in 2015. The background tech (hardware and company support team) is kind of the same but even better than Razor's and SteelSeries. They gathered all the best features from the other gaming mice on market in one single concept for each of their products.

If you play alot of games with hotbars like Minecraft or MMOs i highly recommend the Razer Naga. It may look dumb at first but once you try it you will fall in love with it.

If you're fine with a laser mouse, you might as well try one of the most popular ones on the budget side of things - the Logitech MX518 or its predecessor the Logitech G400.
I have owned a MX518 and it lasted about 3 years. I now have the G400 and it's close to its 2nd year. I'm now a Logitech fan because of these two mice.
Here are some things you might want to consider when looking for a mouse (aside from the usual things like wired/wireless, price, and durability).
