That's quite cool, but why do I feel like this should have existed years ago? lol

Really great idea, Read how it works and I like it, It's a more discrete way on listening music while in class.

but here's my gripe with cool hardware ideas in kickstarter. They don't specifically said about patents so with it's current status, some dickbags corporation/china can just steal the idea, improve the hardware (seeing that it just 256mb max) and sell it at a lower margin.

I'd like to think that it's already patented...

Also, for the memory size: "The 256MB memory chip is the largest capacity currently available on the market with this tiny footprint and low power consumption."
So I guess anyone else is able to improve this point right now, at least not by only replacing this component.

This looks like amazing advertising campaign if they are targeting people who never used mp3 players before. "Finally listen to your music without cables or dongles around your neck" wow, this is so innovative, now we can have wireless earbuds (sarcasm). Seriously, the only new thing they add is making them a crappy mp3 player with barely any space for music (not like you could use any "normal" mp3 player with wireless buds right?). But apart from that, they seem to have problems with wearing scarf or holding umbrella or exercising while listening music using wired buds (funny how they never "invented" keeping the cable under the "inconvenient" clothing or keeping their player in pocket so their hands are free). Also "Split has style" only if you like having weird thing sticking out of your ears (this looks weird and not all weird is cool).
PS: if there is "no pockets" problem, maybe soon we won't need them (this might help)

you are missing the point, they dont transmit audio through a wireless medium so its less "dangerous" to use
i dont like it but they are doing good if you are into this thing. watch the full vid.

"less dangerous" with magnets in your ears? And before I didn't watch the vid, only read their page. Now I did watch it and it's even worse than what I'd expect after reading about the project. How about they write about this "magic" magnetic connection and put some scientific research concerning possible side effects of using this product (even if there's 0,01% possibility that wearing it for 6+h could have negative effects they should say so). If some people may have problems with bluetooth do you think noone could have problems with magnetic interference? I simply do not take "it's safer because we say so" as an argument. It's up to them to prove it.

Being how often my earbuds with wires fall out of my ears, I'd be afraid of losing these.

$150 dollars is a little steep, and I'm willing to bet they won't have the best sound quality with all of the other hardware that's stored in there.

"We invested a lot of time and effort in this: The sound quality in our opinion is very good. " That statement is not very reassuring.

They also only get 4 hours on a charge, which isn't very much at all.

Still, with that said, it's at least a cool idea. I like the use of your teeth to change songs, although that will probably cause a lot of problems.

The ugly drug addicts in the video don't make this very convincing. I bet the sound quality is also terrible. Obviously a scam.

I personally think I'd lose them if they were like that so I'd prefer the wires.

I don't feel this is going to be useful. Wires don't bother me, they're already running underneath my shirt. If I were to wear these while running and drop them, I would lose them instantly and have to get another pair, this isn't a problem with wires since they just hang there and I put it back in.

256MB and 4 hour battery life don't sound too attractive at launch, but I understand this thing is still in in baby shoes and will improve with some time, so I can forgive that now.
