Only if you're super picky about what you redeem. My library is almost 6K, I only buy if I'm interested in the early unlock making the rest all bonus. There might be the occasional title I already have or aren't particularly interested in but 's been something other than the early unlock for me in every one I've subbed too.

Really, my best bet would be to just stop buying games and rely on Humble Monthly to expand the library. Especially coming after a Steam sale when you may have already bought something like I did with GalCiv3. On the other hand, just forking over $12 for the bundle is probably way more cost-effective if you're not picky and like variety.

2 things I've heard from people who don't like either is they don't like board games and the other is they don't like pixel graphics. I think both are really good games. Armello is one of the best digital board games out there and Hyper Light Drifter is one of best indie games out there. Different strokes for different folks.

Honestly, from time to time I buy some stuff at G2A if I really want it and it's a nice price. I've probably bought a few dozen games from them over the past few years, some for giveaways, never ever had any sort of problem. But, of course, I am aware of the issues surrounding the website, so I understand. Still, a good choice if you only want HLD from the June monthly.

I can't remember the details and I usually don't read reviews but the title popped out to me, and probably almost everyone else reading it. The headline alone was fucking stupid, Whatever you’re looking for in a Mad Max game, Mad Max isn’t it.
The game had overwhelmingly positive reviews at the time and the reviewer was basically telling people not to buy the game because the stuff you were not required to do but he felt was tedious. There was also a concerning lack of strong independent females but that might just have been from the comment section, I can remember that well. Anyway, I just had to buy the game to spite this blatantly biased review and thus in a weird way, I'm grateful because it turned out to be an excellent and very enjoyable game. Even if you're not a fan of the genre and this "open world" concept I find it impossible to deny that it's a very well made game. Runs like a dream, as in very very well optimized, from the start.
Verdict: Mad Max doesn't play well with its intended audiences, or as a video game. Skip it.

Yeah, it looks like madsession is right. My friend forwarded me mail that he got after buying gift and it's says "Thank you for purchasing Month to Month Plan as a gift!". I think it's not possible to buy specific monthly bundle. I really don't understand why they did this

When redeeming a gifted Humble Monthly subscription, it's important to know that content received depends entirely on the time the subscription was activated via the Claim button in the gift link. I'm so sorry if that wasn't clear! All games except the early unlock are meant to be kept secret until the first Friday of the month. If you wait until after then to redeem a gift subscription, it won't be possible to obtain the previous month's bundle.

I can see how it would be abused if people could just wait until a monthly bundle they want, then redeem their gift.
But that doesn't make it any better for your situation when it was not the case, just a natural delay in redeeming.
Was there something in particular you were looking for from the July monthly? Maybe you can trade Pillars and/or NBA for them.

Well, that was my first thought too, but no, if bundle tied for specific month, people can't abuse this, because even if they wouldn't like games from bundle, they'll still get that bundle anyway.
Well, actually the only game from July that i was really looking for was Sherlock Holmes, but mainly because it is currently very overpriced even in my region. Others games looks interesting, but I'm not trading anymore and actually don't really want to bother with that.
