Will HB get into your wallet with this Monthly bundle? ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)
Probably I will play none of these games.
I have Armello already.

Meh.
Armello and Hyper Light Drifter were wishlisted, so I'm okay with that.
DS2? Who doesn't have that already? Also, least loved game in the whole franchise.
Galactic Civ 3 with no DLC? WTF is gonna play that? This is just onboarding people to the DLC train.
Sherlock Holmes? Meh. I might play it some day.
Kero Blaster? Are you serious?
As for next month...
NBA2K17? Fuck that noise.
Pillars of Eternity? Have it.

To be fair, those NBA2K17 keys will probably sell for more than the cost of the bundle. Although I think that violates the Humble ToS. (I gave away the WWE key from a previous bundle.)

Kinda dissapointed with this one, only Hyper Light Drifter was worth of my attention.

Sherlok and and Hyper Light Drifter are cool, but planes or 4x turnbased games are not my cup of tea.

I, for one, even if I had DS2 already, I was going to bet on the contents, and man, I wasn't disappointed in the slightest. Armello, Hyper Light Drifter, Kero Blaster... games that were in my wishlist, then there's Sherlock Holmes, GCIII and SimplePlanes, games that I didn't have, so in overall, a worthy bundle IMHO.

A great HBM, most of games are in wishlist.
However this giving of base games which have a lot of DLCs is a bit saddening. It is completely understandable that publishers find this approach appealing and HB also gets nice expensive base games in HBM/Hight Tier bundles, but..
Considering how many fine games there exist, in recent years I felt it a good tactics to wait until getting the full version to play, especially if DLCs are such as for Armello - they don't add separate scenarios but improve the whole game experience. (Playable clan, extra characters, beautiful map visual customization.. I want this when I will play through the whole game, and will probably not return to game later even if will get the DLCs)
Still didn't activate base Galactic Civ 3 from last winter/spring bundle for the same reason - there is a million of DLCs. There will be probably complete edition after 1-2 years, and cheaper than discounted base now.
Well base games probably will make a good present for somebody not being as meticulous as myself.
And the same will be with Pillars of Eternity. This game even doesn't currently have upgrade to Royal Edition for owners of a base. And buying White March expansions plus probably next DLCs separately even on future sales hardly would be a great deal compared to price of complete edition by then
edit Oh wow, Royal edition upgrade can be purchased separately but currently it costs twice the base game. OST and pdf books!
Despite these thoughts looking like a critic, I got Dark Souls 2, HLD and Sherloc Holmes for myself (copy of which coincidentally I was currently giving away) + quite a lot of nice stuff for SG, all of which is more than great! It is always delicious, games are always worthy and this feeling of opening the treasure chest is something lovely.. <3 :3

I just wanted to say that this almost exactly mirrors my feelings regarding bundling games without their extensive DLC packs. More often than not for me, it has turned out that owning the base games game doesn't matter at all when considering the price of getting the full experience later. I guess it's a better deal for people more anxious to play the latest games than I am though :)

I bought PoE with the expansions and, tbh, while the added content is nice I honestly wouldn't miss it that much. If anything it just makes me feel like I have to play them to get my money's worth when, really, I'm at the point that I'm ready to call it quits:) YMMV.

Arrrgh, forgot to sub, and of course this one has four WL games. ;_;
Is there a place to go for looking to buy these bundles after release? Like from people unhappy with what they got?

Thanks! I posted a thread, fingers crossed for someone to come along that wasn't satisfied.

Which thread/sub forum is that? Unfortunately, I'm at work, so I can't check very often. =(

I saw your post but already got rid of the early unlock a few weeks ago. It may help if you list the 4 you want in your thread in case someone doesn't have all. That is, if you want to deal with buying it piecemeal

I really am hoping to get the entire thing, as even the non-WL games interest me. But thanks!

Well, I managed to grab one without Sherlock, and though I want that too, it's definitely better than nothing. Maybe I can trade for that one. =)

Be aware that bundle splitting via GroupBuys is against Humble's policies, which may or may not be a deterrent.

Ah, I'll have to keep that in mind for next time. Am I likely to get in trouble for it this time?

I think you generally only have a problem if you require support for the key. Other than that, it's mostly the honor system.

Hm, seems Galactic Civilizations III is giving the wrong CV value on SG ($15 from the upgrade version instead of $30 from the full version).

Yea I've seen other games before on Steam with the same issue (they list the upgrade price instead of the regular game one during a search or on the wishlist). Really annoying when you've got a game on your wishlist and see its on sale only to find out it's not really on sale...

How so? In June the best things you got were Superhot and Stellaris, the others were minor games. This time you got DS2, GC3, Hyper Light Drifter (minor game as it is it easily overpowers every other minor game in the June bundle by a mile), Armello and Sherlock Holmes the Devils Daughter. It's hard for me to think of any bundle that even compares honestly.

Worth it just for "Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" alone. This is a very nice monthly bundle.

I almost bought 3 of them during the summer sale so I guess it was worth it even tho I had Dark Souls.

If in this Montly there was not a DS2 but DS3 (cause so many people have ds2 already), then this would be the best bundle of all time.
Armello is so amazing, i really suggest you to try (especially with friends, if you are not afraid to lose them after the game). Without cancer community, with many styles of play and beautiful artstyle. I played 626 hours already and its still played perfectly, i am still discovering many things and tricks. Pure fun.
Hyper Light Drifter - masterpiece.
Sherlock has never been bad, so I do not doubt the quality and this time. And i dont know about others. but in my region only Sherlock never cost less than 10 dollars... And its only one game from bundle.

Hmm. I would've liked Galactic Civilizations III but I'm not really interested in the rest of the games so I'm not upset about not getting it. Might still be able to get Galactic Civilizations III through a giveaway if I'm lucky. :)
