Heyyyyyy,
lovely day out to discuss!
What are your thoughts on this topic? Mine was:

1) Maybe allow Origin Based Giveaways on steamgifts?

2) Your 300 points is used towards BOTH steam and origin based gifts.

3) Use of a filter or color coded game link to show the games DRM is for Steam (lets say Blue Link) or Origin (Orange Link).

Your thoughts? Should SteamGifts be more then just for Steam?

Stay beautiful, and have a great week!

Hell no! If you're desperate to give away (or win) some Origin crap, go to GalaGiveaways. They'll be more than happy to have your extra bundle keys.

Nope, I'm happy with Steamgifts being a place for steam giveaways!

No because the ratio of fake giveaways would be really high because you actually don't have Origin gifts. Only keys can be given out. Gifts also provides a proof that you own the game and you want to give it away.

Sometimes people drop origin keys on the forums. They still work after weeks. Nobody wants that shit. Seriously.

Nope.
This is Steamgifts, not Origingifts.
If there would be demand for the latter it would exist already.

Origin doesn't have a logging system to webs like Steam, therefore, the system wouldn't have access to your library and nobody could verify if you activate the games you win or not, that's the reason why Battlefield 3 and Minecraft giveaways are now forbidden.

Why the heck isn't Minecraft on steam btw?

Because Notch doesn't need a distribution platform for a game as popular as Minecraft, and he doesn't want to pay a share of his profits to Valve

If they were on a separate page or gave an option to ignore them, why would I care. I'd love to pick up a couple of Origin games for free though since I refuse to give EA ANY of my money until they shut that crapsite down.

As much as I want to get rid of my Origin keys, I'd disagree.
