On a topical note, I'm a bit confused. Early release news and reviews I saw stated that co-op would be exclusive to the Switch, but the Steam listing has co-op both in the tags and description. It seems likely the articles were just mistaken or that the plans changed, but if anyone [y'know, among any users who now have the new version] could confirm that PC does have co-op, that'd be nice. :)

10 people from my FL have original, and all 10 got the new co-op version.

Check your list of licenses. If you got the game as a review copy via Curator or beta key, you won't get the new version

Its the full version, but it was Lichtspeer for Beta Testing... activated via key...

There you have it - since you have beta package rather than the retail one. You don't get the second game.
You might want to contact the developer to ask them to add the remastered version to the beta package.

A day ago, Steam disabled the purchase option for Lichtspeer.
As compensation all owners got Lichtspeer: Double Speer Edition for free.
So check your libraries. ;)
