Yeah, I know, CV doesn't matter, blah blah, :P, but I was just curious. If I do a giveaway of a game and then much later it is added to the bundle list, does my CV decrease as well?
I just noticed it was less than it was before, and wondered why.

It does decrease if the day your giveaway is created is later than the bundle's start or leak. CV also decreases when a game drops in price

Weird, I created my giveaway over a month ago, when the game wasn't bundled.

IT shouldn't do that, the only way it will be is if the game was bundled somewhere but wasn't on the list. Basically if the game was steamkey of greenlight, accidently missed on the list, etc...

It was ORION: Dino Horde...a couple weeks ago it came on sale at 92% off, I think (still below the 95% for being put on the bundle list).
Obviously it wasn't on greenlight before that, and it wasn't on a bundle either. Should I put in a ticket with support?

4-pack was on sale as well, obviously making every single copy even cheaper.

It was added retroactively. A lot of times they don't go by the base price in your region, they go by the cheapest region (Russia, etc) and the price per copy of a multi-pack. I can see that it was added to the list so contacting support probably won't accomplish anything. You still can if you want to but they'll probably tell you the same thing.

In any case, thanks again for my copy. :-) Sorry about the CV though.

No worries, hope you enjoyed it! (I heard it wasn't a very good game :P). Maybe from now on I'll settle for games unlikely to ever be bundled! Thanks for the info.

It DEFINITELY wasn't on the bundle list when I created the giveaways. And my CV stayed that level (and I entered many that level giveaways) for weeks after. I realise it is on the Bundle List NOW, but it wasn't then... :(
I suppose with the 4-pack it'd have gone over the 95% off requirement. Oh well. Could someone clarify at what % sale a game goes on the bundle list? Is it 95%?

It's 95% mostly but I think its possible to also go on it if there's a tremendous amount of abuse of said game

95% off, in the cheapest region, so if it is only 92% off (as Dino Horde was) in your region it might still get onto the list if the 92% off in some other pricing region (I think it was Russia for this one) puts it at an equivalent 95% off in the US. This can also happen if the 4-pack gets a large discount and puts each copy at more than 95% discount.

Worse. CV for every game gets lower if the game gets a permanent price decrease.
