Do you have online/vitual friend that you consider as real friend?
Uhuhuh, train to the mysterious place! :o
Edit: reading the thread now
Edit2: Jesus.... I'm sorry to hear that!!! :( Do you know the cause of the death? I know how it is to have online/virtual friends that you consider as real friends, how close you can end up being. Nearly more than people you know in real life. I have met several of my online friends and it was great! :) I'm sorry to hear that you never got to meet him & his family..
The only one in my life that I lost was my dad. It surely isn't fun to loose someone. But you will always have the memories & smile (or cry) when thinking of the person.
Rest in peace.

Woah.... so sorry about what you must be going thru... what a terrible thing to happen... wish there was something could say to give you comfort.
Truly the community here is tight and many close friendships are made here. I wouldn't say you are grieving for a man you never met personally... for its clear you knew your friend very well and you did more than meet him via the board... you shared your life with him.

Sorry to hear about your friend. Death is part of our lives and it's hard to deal with it sometimes.
We may take life for granted, but when things like this happen we then realise how fragile we are.
Anyway, so nice of you to remember him by giving away some of his favourite games. Should I win any of them I'll play in his memory, even though he's a stranger to me.
Cheers!

A lot of people feel sorry for someone when dies, you are not the exception. I am sorry, i hate to read this kind of news but its just life, the memories that you have from him will make him live in your heart and that's the only thing that matters. I have no doubt that he is in a better place now. Hope you feel it better.

I'm relly sorry for your lost.
And about the cuestion. I met some people in a online game 3 years ago. One day we decided to make a meeting and meet each others. Now we are all good friends, and even one of them have moved to my city (new job) and we see often.

Sorry to hear about that... I have (and have had) many real friends on the internet, and I've lost contact with some of them, without knowing what really happened... It's a little weird, but I just imagined they've moved on from their online lives...

Sorry for your lose, words become meaningless at this times. So the silence maybe will be better.

Greetings traveler, please stay awhile...
Let me tell you a story about my friend...
We get to know each other about 6-7 months ago when he joined my group.... He was in his early 30's and had everything every man desire, good job, great wife, even became a father of a lovely boy few months ago, and above all of that always had time for games.
He was in minority of ones who understood and laugh on my black humor, and had best fun trolling other members ^^
I wont even speak of his generosity and giveaways... he was the best of us.
But people saying that everything perfect doesent last forever... and it doesen't...
We were chating and playing almost daily, and our community is like family you dont go away for few days not leting your group brothers know about it.
So after 5 days offline I got a little worried and message him on facebook...and nothing... 10 days after his wife contacted me with terrible news, while she was writing me, I couldnt know what is it, I know him very well that he wouldnt run away, or end up in hospital, but then she said that worst thing possible happend, he suddenly died... I was staring at monitor, got over cold sweat and instant sickness in my stomach... what to say... feeling lost, depressed ... what to say to woman that lost her husband, cant imagine her feelings when Im crushed...
I barely managed streinght to tell this to rest of the people... for days chat was empty, or no one talked... my wife called me crazy for being depressed for man I never personaly met. That night I couldnt sleep, first thing in morning I went to church and light candle for him... I can say I know the feeling now loosing someone you love.
One month earlier we were talking of going together on vacation with our families... but life is a bitch.... now month later day cant pass that I dont remember you my friend. You will always be in my heart <3
There is so much I want to tell about him... but longer I write this it is harder... I cant ... maybe I will edit it if I get in better mood, I dont know...
We decided to make a little train in his name here on sg, as his goodbye to this community.
I would like to please you, no generic thanks.
Take your tickets here
Most of games are from his wishlist, Batman series was his favorite games, and some cheaper for noncontributors.
