More of a sim than a proper "game"...

A replica medieval city accurately recreated down to the street level as it existed in the real world centuries ago, as best as anyone can guess.

AI controlled people go about their business, talking of current events of the time, with nothing particularly exciting going on other than getting to experience a more accurate portrayal of what it was like to live there. (Disregarding all the combat, Assassin's Creed 2 was pretty close to what I mean, but the cities weren't accurate.)

Ditto for then doing the same for other time periods (modern times included), and other cities, and in the long term recreating entire nations.

I imagine this kind of thing will eventually happen as a model of our current times, just because we probably can do this, on some level, and all the satellite imagery gives us a good base to start from.

I would love to see a spectacle fighter set in the 'East of West' universe--something with wild gunplay and a world that looks like Dragotta's art.

I just want a game that tells what the hell happens after HL2 Episode Two... (ಠ_ಠ)

Edit: And of course, a first person or third person game where you could play as a pope, (Alexander VI, would be the best one). We don't need any more strategy games. I want to stroll the f out of Vatican City.

2nd Edit: A FRIGGIN FPS WHERE YOU PLAY BOTH A SWISS GUARD AND A SOLDIER OF VITTORIO EMANUELE II, DURING THE RISORGIMENTO ERA with a story that's probably not well crafted and lacking any complex character develepments. A story whose end seems like it was prepared at the last minute. THAT WOULD BE LIKE THE CALL OF DUTY: ITALIAN REUNIFICATION without the greed for money, hopefully. HOT DAMN Please someone do it before Ubisoft assassinates the idea.
