Since i'm going to get my new pc soon, that will be powerful enough to run any game on full details I guess i might give AKATSUKI group a shot, if you believe i'm valuable candidate enough :D I suppose i need to write this "AKATSUKI", sooooo :D

Hey there! Id like to join AKATSUKI, if you're still interested in having me. I like the concept of the group, read all the rules and have been looking for an unbundled group for awhile. :)
2 questions for you:
-Do extra giveaways have to follow any rules?
-Not an actual question, but is reaching 20% of playtime and 10% of achievements on won games that hard to do that a significant amount of people left the group? :o

Hi guille36!
for your questions:
-Extra gifts should not follow any rule, can be shared with other groups, bundle etc etc.
You can make custom rules in extra gifts.
-Personally I don't think it's so hard.
Some users were simple collectors, but others users preferred not take on the commitment because of the little free time for work, family etc etc

I'm playing Owlboy at the moment, and I will most likely finish it with 0 achievement obtained. So if it was a game I won in your group, I would have to write "a game report in case a member should have encountered "difficult situations" making it impossible to achieve these requirements" ?

There are games that you can complete without even acquiring one achievement? :O

Yup - from the top of my head I can think of Momodora: RUTM

Hmm, I see. I don't think I've ever completed any game without getting any of its achievements, but then again, I have a bad memory. xD

Well, they're definitely not that common but yeah - in the one I mentioned simply beating it isn't enough to get any achievements at all - closest one would be the "true ending" achievement but you still need to get a certain secret for it.

Good thing I don't care about achievements then. xD

There's no story achievement, they're all easily missable

Well, we have taken in cosideration this kind of specific cases, too.
In these circumstances, yes, you should write a report where you can share your experience with the game, including the difficulty of obtaining achievements. After a quick check by mods, we would consider the game played, provided you spent enough time with it. And if you could provide a (optional) screenshots or two, that would be great :-)
Willing to give it a try, TJ? :-)

I don't join a lot of groups but this one seems interesting, I have to think about it and take a closer look at the rules.
What's the deadline for applying ?

Sure, take your time!
We will probably close the thread in 1 week, at most.

Have to say that I have some concerns after looking at some of the group members. When was the rules about playing the games won in the group added ?
Comment has been collapsed.
your concern is right, but this is the first month with the rule "play your wins"
all of us have adhered to this new rule, if they don't respect it, our 'roads' will divide by the end of this cycle
Join us, you can go in immediately, try a 3-month cycle and if you don't like it you can exit, and we are friends as before

Well, the rule has been approved only a couple of weeks ago, so this is the first month it will be applied.
We are still in the middle of tweaking and fixing things.
I myself am rather curious to see even some "concerning" members will comply: let's hope so, I really wouldn't like to use bahammers within the group :-)
If you have more questions, ask away and I will do my best to reply.

That's why it went free - because it didn't have like a thousand achievements like some others have (I'm joking). xD

Interesting, but sadly I am stuck with region lock, and I am happy with China’s price.

Your group sounds great, and I applaud creating a rule that states that you must play your won games. I'd ask to join, but I'm only level 5, and I fear I'd probably forget to make a giveaway every month. But I hope you find some great people to join you guys!

AKATSUKI
Your group seems nice and fair and I would be interested in joining it.
The majority of my giveaways are games from the Humble Monthly that I either own them already or give them away because I don't intend to play some of them. I hope those count as unbundled games and that your group is interested in those :)
Edit: Oops. I just read your rules on your website as well and looks like HB Monthly games do not interest your group :(

Seems like a nice enough group. A bit hardcore, but not necessarily in a bad way.
Bump for visibility.

We are a small dedicated group (25 members, currently) and last month we celebrated our first anniversary.
The most peculiar thing in Akatsuki? Well, apart the fact we really like to give away and win games, we have not implemented a ratio system: instead we have 3-months cycles in the group, with the aim to "help" unlucky members who have won less during a cycle and "asks for more" to lucky members as well.
We are now recruiting a few users, especially since some old fellows left after the approval of new (very light!) rules that asks group members to play the games they win in Akatsuki.
You may be asking; why that?
Well, one of our primary goals with this new approach is to give more winning chances to people that REALLY wants to get specific games.
After all, because of the high quality of games being given away in the group, we do not want that people enter giveaways only to get a +1 in their library, or because they simply like to win and no more than that, or to farm cards or similar reasons.
We want winners that really DESIRE the games they win, they want to play them or at least try them.
We won't lie: being in Akatsuki is somewhat demanding. We really care for the quality of giveaways being gifted here and we really want all members to act with utter honesty. Also, we strongly believe in giving away only unbundled games, it's our "core business" here and we are truly committed to this aspect. Finally, we are very selective when choosing new members.
But if you enjoy donating and winning awesome games; if you like to play the games you win; if you want to live this new adventure together with your fellows in a cozy and helpful group; if you are capable of acting always respectfully;
then don't be too much scared by the wall of text while checking our Rules at the link below. Done? Well, I know, you can be scared, now! :-)
But if you survived, read our minimum requirements for application to our group:
you must be at least level 6 here on SG,
you must be well inclined to give away with generosity nice games,
you have to apply for the group by writing the word AKATSUKI in a comment.
At the end of the recruitment phase, we'll examine all candidates and choose those the best users that we think best fit our group.
Chosen members will be asked to join our group starting from 1th november.
