My question is if someone uses steam to directly send a gift via my email, will it go to my gifts or will it directly link to my account? I won a game on another site I literally just bought and wanna gift it to my younger brother.

You don't make much sense, but I'm assuming you want to know whether you can gift from inventory as the first case and giving a gift by email as the second case. For the first case, no you can't. For the second case, it will show the gift in your inventory until it has been redeemed.

When you send a Steam gift via email, there will be an option to accept or decline the gift and after that, an option to keep it in the inventory or directly link to the account and start download.

Yes that is what I meant, if he sent it to me via my email on there if i could choose to put it in inventory.

You can choose to store it in your inventory. Also, just for future reference: Its not allowed to do this on steamgifts.

What BloodEmblem means is that you can't gift games won here to anyone. The rules say you have to activate them yourself.

You said it was on another site so it should be okay in that case. And yes, when you send by email the person receiving the gift will be able to choose between adding it to library or inventory.
