I spent 2 years living under a bridge and surviving by panhandling, petty theft and worse waiting for my trust fund to kick in. I could have gotten a job but more realistically I should have met with an attorney or company to get a loan but I'm not sure that would have worked since I had to declare bankruptcy so I could dodge my bills and still keep 100% of the trust fund. He hated that I was born to be a full time gamer, clubber, psychonaut and partymaster. Sorry not everyone is meant to go to school and work and make businesses and be a robot. Not to mention that the whole point of making tons of money is to ensure future generations don't have to work and can pursue more philopopsicle undertakings. He even tried to make me jump through hoops for the money but when you have a compromising video tape of the estate's administrator some of those hoops magically widen haha. Did Mozart or Michaelanjello work "regular" jobs? No because they had to think up their next great idea. He was so controlling you'd think his ghost was gonna try to make go to rehab and waste another 6 months talking about feelings and how to not have fun and become one more sheeple dead by 30 buried at 70! I don't think so TIM! #YOLO #420ramble #RIP

That I gifted away $34 of money to friends on stuff like L4D and Half-Life 75% off sales, before the summer sale started.

LOL Poor Delta... )
Yeah, I ended up with no money for the sale, too, but it's all good in the end.

I second this! However, I'm mostly not buying games because my laptop recently died, so I think it'd be a waste to get Steam games atm.

...because humble bundles are something you will always regret NOT buying.
Seriously, just buy every humble bundle without questions or regrets. It's the smart thing to do.

No regrets. Even the mystery card brought me some minimal income.

lack of good value for money publisher packs as compared to previous steam sales.

None, really... Except maybe the $5 I spent on my Steam Wallet just to clean up trading cards. I got something I wanted on the Green Man Gaming 666 sale, so I have already used my summer sale budget—something that I admittedly had very little of to begin with.

Buy more. You can never stop at just one copy of Bad Rats. Last winter sale I got 10 copies to "gift" to people on my friends list.

that i bought Skyrim LE to 3 random ppl from my friends list and i found out they sold/traded it for cards or tf2 keys :( (fucking 3 ppl - like a fucking nightmare or something)
Cleaned the fuck out my friends list

I do, i dont like skyrim...if i wanted skyrim i could EASILY get it for 9 keys (As you can see in my tf2 INV, i have more than 9)
but its not my type of game ^^

I would've loved to have been on your friends list for a mere opportunity at that. No consideration, some people have...

I've done that before! And I've also had friends do that for me, too.
Surprising my friends is a lot of fun. I do wish I had more money for gifts, though. Perhaps I will during my birthday next month. :9

Wow... that's fucking rude of them. Shit like that is why I have a hard time gifting to just anyone in my friends list. I only give those who I know will actually play their game at least some time in the future, and won't be doing so solely for the trading cards it gives you.

Wow, what jerks. I haven't even touched my skyrim yet. My backlog is looking scarier and scarier.

Havent done anything in the sale yet, so I have no regrets

I regret nobody will buy my worthless cards for 10€ each.
Comment has been collapsed.
It won't if it is in the daily's, flash's or votings.

The flash sales go on for 8 hours at a time, you can't miss so many of them.

i regret selling my summer sales cards for less then 3$ :o

what's my biggest regret? well that the summer sale badge actually tells me exactly how much I've spent in the summer sale so far...

Biggest regret? Didn't sell some cards fast enough. :(

1 - Bought CitiesXL Platinum -50% (14,99€). One hour later, it's available at -75% flash sale (7,50€) :D
2 - A lot of games, even at 5€, that I want badly, but no money :/ so I try to don't look at Steam' homepage because it can make me cry.

Never buy games if they are not flash sales, daily deals, community's choice or the last day of the sale. CitiesXL Platinum -50% off lasted until the 22 july, right? Why didn't you wait and see?
Comment has been collapsed.
Right. I didn't wait & see because it's my first Steam Summer Sale :p (I wasn't a big Steam fan...).
