I5 4690K or Xeon E3-1231 V3

So I'm about to finish building my first gaming pc I have everything built i just need to buy and install the processor. Now I'm wondering which on should i get? Im not planning on overclocking anything because i don't want to blow my PC up (I'm already worried nothing works) Im just gonna game. My goal with my build is to run the New DooM.

No GA sorry folks. Im saving up for this. Come December i might make one.

I have dual monitors. I'm gonna be watching hockey while gaming sometimes. Wouldn't the Xeon be better for that since it has close to the same specs but has more L3 Cache?

xenon are made for server or pretty large software that require lots of core while gaming required a maximum of 8 (only few game and now and even 4 for most of the game) so it's might be a overkill to get a xenon now, you are better with a higher end graphic card than a power full cpu
