Microphone Issue

Hi I need some help with my mic, if you can help me and get it to work I will give 5 trading cards, just pick from my inventory.

The issue I'm having is that no one can hear me when I'm using my mic in game, I have checked my sound and my mic works when I test it and I hear myself when I talk, but when I go inside a game it does not work. I have tried re installing the mic few times and updating the sound drivers but nothing works, I'm not into these kind of things so if anyone have any idea on how to help me you'll get a reward for your time.

Does the mic work in every game or does it not work with one game in particular?

Have you tried talking to somebody using teamspeak or skype?If yes,did the mic work?

It may be the Game/Server problem. Tried talking on other servers or Games/Programs?

what program are you using for voip?
you might need to bind a 'push to talk' key somewhere... (and select the correct input source)

Try selecting your microphone in-game or in the voip program...sometimes it's set as default which might be not the microphone

This might be completely obvious, but have you plugged the mic in all the way?

he said that when he checked his microphone he could hear his voice back...obviously it is plugged..what about sykpe,mumble and teamspeak have you tried talking on any of them and if so did it work?
